Drew, sorry to hear about the tooth 'appliance'.... hopefully it won't be too troublesome to get it out. Previous dentist should get an earful!

Wng, some of my favorite hikes were in the snow... almost like being on a different world. Very peaceful. Rain, on the other hand......

Don, glad the WH was a simple fix. Wifey definitely is a good soul!

Check, beautiful pics! Jasper definitely likes it. We had an Airedale a few years past, her name was Fiona. When it snowed, she became a very agile snowball.

The agenda for today: return UPS then pick up the other one. Then need to go to pick a few items at Wally World. We are now going to go up to Colorado this weekend to visit with the daughter/family/MIL. The daughter is working right up to Christmas Eve, then back to work the day after.... she's covering a couple other providers at the Urgent care to let them have off.

Not sure if we'll drive up Saturday night or Sunday morning. Probably the morning..... some areas to travel through got a bunch of snow. Don't need any surprises driving mountainous roads at night. Plus, it's beautiful scenery along the way!

Isn't there an old saying Don't take any wooden nickels?
fake money has been fake money for a long time.

He just went by the other way.
Left an envelope with cash too. He's here almost every day all year long. Nice guy too.

Sorry to hear this. That's a lesson you would not forget if it was 10k let alone 100. I guess somebody was trying to get rich quick.

20 degrees, windy, light snow. Good thing I'm retired and don't need to go anywhere today. I have a full wood pile and food supplies. Feeling a bit better today. Cephalexin and Prednisone seem to be helping. Fever is gone. Slept 11 hours last night. Dog didn't even get up during the night.

Don't you hate it when your spouse suggests just spending $$$ when you might be able to fix it for only $$?
Especially when said spouse was with you in times when you didn't have 2 pennies to rub together.

MrsKilroyJC came from a family that never repaired/always replaced. Suffice to say I usually get grief about trying to fix things, and more grief when it doesn’t still work, even though there is no loss when trying doesn’t work except for a bit of time and effort. But crickets when I do fix things and save the $$. . .
