For those having issues starting chain saws….Stihl has an “Easy Start” option on some of their saws ( maybe other stuff, but definitely saws). You fairly easily pull the starter cord which winds a spring. When you reach end of pull, the spring disengages and spins the engine. Works nice and takes little effort.

My wife read the other day where you loose job competency now after 4 years.

That would be true as well, but I was referring more to altitude 🤙

Good morning.
-2 C. During night we have got like 10 cm of snow.
Made good job with Yanmar and broom. But looking at forecast is seems at evening will be another 10 cm. Dont care. 😎
Just need to ran to tank, get some diesel (I dont keep smelly liquids at home, maybe I should... )

Tried to drive to office. it is 11 km. Waze told 40 minutes. Which is "normal" for going across big city (650k ppl lives in Riga). Anyway, started to drive, Waze adjusted to 55 minutes
Fck that, today I am "working" from home 🤣

This is the view trough my (not yet finished) "winter garden". I am kinda "working" from there 🤣

In my case, I have a Stihl "easy start" chain saw, and they are easy to start. The challenge for me is more with balance issues related to cerebral palsy. I need to be cautious, so that especially during the pull start, I don't fall off balance with a running chain saw (if that makes any sense). I bought that chainsaw for that particular feature, and have used it for numerous jobs over the years. Nice to be able to do things myself. I don't knock trees down, but i do clean them up, remove branches etc.
