Good morning!!!!

23 going to 51 before a week of rain.

Kyle, prayers for your mom. Good to hear from you. That church camp sounds like fun.

Newbury, $400 sounds like a lot for a vacuum, but the Dyson V10 Animal has been worth every penny. We got one several years ago, and I was so impressed, I bought 3 more from Costco on sale to give to each son/spouse for Christmas...a splurge, but I really liked how it performed, and knew they would never spend that much. With dogs and cats, they tell me they use it every day. A vacuum is only as good as how often you'll use it, and the cordless sticks are so fast to unmount and easy to drive they are fun. The Dyson has just the right trigger pull weight, too.

Don, your job looks better and better every time you write about it.

PJ, I admire your ethics.

Rich, beautiful bike.

Roasted coffee, ground and brewed some for my wife, then finished Ikea assembly, brought firewood onto porch, and put up all CHRISTmas decorations in the yard and on the house, just as it got dark enough to gaze like a child in amazement.

Still haven't done our annual tree search around the property, but the pickings are scarce. Some are too big now, some too small, and some were the favorite rubbing trees for bucks. Decided to do this rather than take off for the mountains today...will make my wife happy when she gets up and finds me here...I'll still get a long hike at the nearby park.

Buppies, too early for a CHRISTmas forecast? Snow, I'm sure...just need to know how many inches. 🤣 Probably will hit 60F, right?

20 outside this AM. Heading to 50.

Managed to get the remaining xMas lights strung on the house yesterday. And shopping.... yippie.

Spotted this young eagle yesterday doing the morning chores. Watched it for a while just to take it in. It was a good start to a productive day. Missing barn cat showed back up. Was gone for a while, long enough to where the SO was worried. Looks good and was very vocal about where he had been. I paid him no mind nor scolded his absence.

Hope all have a great start to the work week. Be safe.

Good morning, the low is 32 and the high to 34°F. Wind SSW 17 gusting to 23 mph. 30% chance of flurries.
Another inch of snow coming tonight on top of the 3" we got yesterday. Neighbour just texted me, I WILL be plowing when I get home.

daugen,
if they find out this was done to thwart a local drag queen show starting at the same time, as social media is reporting,
the Feds will get involved.

The Feds surely don't like to lose money and they really don't want all those queens barking down their necks. lol

rip, the barn cat was probably telling you that it was hiding from the eagle but got hungry.

Off to North Bay for Juniors' tests and a small shopping trip, too.
I will see how much gas is when I am there.

Have a safe day all

good morning all
lots to read and great pics here (y)

Ron I meant paint the pins yellow so he doesn't lose them. He'd better not lose the bracket...

Helo, not many of us use a broom for snow, municipalities for sidewalks but I hear they work really well if snow is not too wet.
glad your boys did well.

little high school here only graduated 53 when I was here. Too small for football, didn't even have running track. Not any more, one of everything with
expected school taxes. Basketball team went almost three years without winning a game. My next older brother played, must have been pretty depressing.
But we did win the tri-county award for soccer. Don't have to be tall or huge to win at that.

Bird, now you just send that nice warm weather up here please, don't hog it.
Now I am wondering, why brooms are so under-estimated. Actually either here city council stared seriously tested them only this year.
Dont know, maybe they will wear down very fast. On that I say something "scientific" at April. Actually should check and note length of "hair".

Other than that I cant imagine good reason not to use broom

Ok, it is slower. Only with plow you can go rather fast. With broom 5 - 10 km/h maybe

But if temperature is negative (C) working with broom gives you clean and dry surface without using any salt 'n'****

Morning all, 20 going up to 48.
I got a pass from the wife to put lights on roof so I can spend more time on garage insulation project.
Will put out more lawn lights and the Christmas ball, did not get a chance to make the 2nd smaller one, oh well.
Next weekend into NYC for high tea and wandering the different markets and such.

Be well,

Good Morning
It’s 21 with a forecast high of 45 under clear skies.

Yesterday was a clear day as well. I saw a stealth bomber orbiting the area, I’m guessing it was going to do a pass over Lincoln Financial Field for the Eagles game, and was holding until it’s allotted time. Regardless, it was pretty cool to see.

Trip to Sebring was very nice, I flew with my partner as copilot, we have been friends for 40 years, so it was a good time. The passengers were racing in a 12 hour race, and were quite happy, as evidenced by the trophies that we put in the baggage compartment. Was a nice clear night, could see the lights of Baltimore over a hundred miles out.

Here’s the sunset from 45,000 feet-

Not sure what today will bring, but I’m sure that it will keep me busy.

Nice Motorcycle Rich. I have a soft spot for old English bikes, Matchless, AJS, Velocette, Vincent, Royal Enfield and of course Norton, Triumph and BSA. They all command impressive prices for a clean example now. I have always lusted for a Velocette Thruxton, but I suspect it will go unrequited.
