I am automatically drawn to motorcycles ... a buddy at church has a motorcycle museum / cafe, in the area. Very interesting.

i am not able to ride bikes, dirt bikes, motorcycles etc, but i do have an Arctic Cat 400 ATV.

I have had opportunities to ride on the back of a bike or trike on occasion. The Christian Bikers Association took me out during the Christmas Toy Run in Vancouver, BC for several years. Very cool memories. One day i might get a Trike - Honda Goldwing 1800GL or a Harley maybe. The custom VW trike with the bikers, was pretty unique.

this thing was a monster ... my late younger brother took me out for a ride on his 1984 Suzuki Katana 1100 a couple of times. That was the quickest machine that i have ever been on ... yikes, had to change my shorts i'm sure. apparently it is a very rare bike, highly sought after by collectors ... who knew ?

Good Monday morning !

Was crazy week, and this one seems no better.
Just a quick check in.
For beginning it's -2ºC, cloudy. And it's all about perception. Few weeks ago anything below 0ºC was deadly cold. Then some nights it went down to -10ºC. Now it feels that -2ºC is a bless. Almost warm. LOL
We have got some snow. Not critical, but good 10 - 15 cm is on the ground
Yanmar with broom does good job. I am super happy. My neighbors either. I am becoming popular person in our commune 😎

My twin boys are almost 9 years old. For 2 1/2 years they have basketball training 3 - 4 times a week. Two hard weeks basketball summercamp. To me there are no ambitions or whatsoever, it is just for their health, but coach is pushing to participate in tournaments. At the end I agreed with coach, all their team and boys including has worked really hard, why not to give it a try ? Will be better motivation for training. Maybe ;)
C19 restrictions has spoiled fun for previous years, so just this weekend was their first official tournament.

At first they were playing against local village "official" team and one big & fancy basketball club kids team. Adults of that club are State's Top 3 for years, so kids should be no less. Should.
But our "no-name" team was just crashing and smashing both of them. We won with like 15:55. Before games I thought - my boys has worked hard, they are good, we have not bad chances against even those superstars. But turned out they are hopeless.
At the end our "farm boys" won 4 games out of 4.
I just hope coach will be able to pack their first pride and they will continue to work hard

Poured first cup of coffee. 19° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 41° with cloudy skies. Wind died down enough to blow all the leaves out into east field. Harbor Freight had a clearance sale on a 1" bench sander. Drove over to local store and bought one. Works good deburring small items. Finished up Lynch Clip Brackets. Painted in shop. It will take awhile for them to dry at 50°. Did a repair on neighbors garbage can. Should be good for a few more destruction trips of the garbage truck hydraulics. Not sure what I will get into today.
Do not normally see European Starlings at my feeders this time of year. This one stayed long enough to pose for a picture.

Drew, painted brackets Kubota Gray.

Scaredy, I should get rid of a couple of them. But hate throwing things that still work away.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

good morning all
lots to read and great pics here (y)

Ron I meant paint the pins yellow so he doesn't lose them. He'd better not lose the bracket...

Helo, not many of us use a broom for snow, municipalities for sidewalks but I hear they work really well if snow is not too wet.
glad your boys did well.

little high school here only graduated 53 when I was here. Too small for football, didn't even have running track. Not any more, one of everything with
expected school taxes. Basketball team went almost three years without winning a game. My next older brother played, must have been pretty depressing.
But we did win the tri-county award for soccer. Don't have to be tall or huge to win at that.

Bird, now you just send that nice warm weather up here please, don't hog it.

gosh, how stupid can you be?
if they find out this was done to thwart a local drag queen show starting at the same time, as social media is reporting,
the Feds will get involved.

before or after it took a hunk out of your blade Ron? Heavy enough probably dropped pretty flat.
I learned it here but two years into the farm in NC I bought a rolling magnet. I lose stuff all the time, put it down, like on the rear tire tread
or hitch. I kept buying these really nice hitch pins, we all know the 50 cent ones (probably two bucks now) but I got some "nice" ones. They grew
legs and hiked out too. Found some with magnet. Not all...

If you all remember the drunk farmer next to me in NC, with the Farmall A that was a complete wreck. usually in front yard with battery charger on battery and
battery charger uncovered in middle of yard. Rains a lot there.... He was drunk and crazy, and parts would fall off his tractor out in the field. His three point hitch was a hodge
podge of all kinds of strange bolts. Later on when his health got worse and he couldn't drive the tractor, I would disc and mow that field for him and always had to be on the lookout for
parts of machinery out there. His whole place was a dump, sadly still is with him in nursing home, a penniless ward of the state, drunk himself into oblivion.
He never thanked me for doing anything I did over there. Pretty useless individual, ran the family farm into the ground, literally. All needs to be bulldozed now.
This is why you plant a lot of evergreens on the edges of your farm...sometimes you need a sight barrier.

I have an old picture of my drunk farmer neighbor. Had lost his license, could only drive his tractor, and this was after he crossed over the treeline, broke one of my underground
water pipes going through my garden area, and not finding me, turned around and went home, leaving tracks in my lawn of course.
He was a fool but I learned his Super A was what I needed for potatoes, and went out and got a decent one, with cultivators
