My latest propane fill was just over $6/g with Tax

Saw the lowest gas prices I’ve seen in while when we were out last night - $3.17/gallon.

Diesel has come down some but is still high.

Morning not off to great start. Broke starter rope on pw second pull. Luckily found a suitable replacement (I think) will know shortly. Fortunately, one of easiest recoil starters to rerope that I’ve had.

Filled up the van with diesel 5.59 a gallon and that has come down from 6.50 or so

Local news just mentioned that gas has dropped as low as $2.70 or so up around Cleveland.

Haven’t seen it that low around here but I’m not out and about every day either.

Wow, man. Scary story. I will certainly never get one.

I absolutely love my Harman pellet stove. Id recommend one to anyone. This one is automatic, except clean the ash pan about once a month.
My first one was all manual, it takes more work to keep clean. I have it in garage for periodic use.
I almost bought a used harman from a guy at work. He bought house with one and didn’t want it. He removed it before I could try it. I’d love to put another in my basement.
Kitty endorsed.

We had up to 35 mph winds yesterday.
Fortunately no outages.
I priced a generac a few months ago. Over 10k for generator,,and I had to get gas company to install propane. I passed, for the few outages we get.

Got a pain in my ear since I got home. Lots of sinus issues yet.

Guy from church, just little older than me, has dementia or Alzheimer’s that has come on quite quick. Anyways his wife left him alone for just a few minutes yesterday and he took a walk, fell and broke an arm. He fell a couple months ago and hurt his face pretty bad.
My wife is at a movie tonight with his wife. He is still in hospital. She has her hands full with him. Sad situation.

Haven’t caught up on today’s posts yet.
I did do 6 miles on my bike last night in honor of mostly’s 6k. I added up around 250 miles for me.

$5.95 gallon here.
$5.799 yesterday in Chico, CA at the newly revamped Safeway pumps. It's been higher than $7 earlier this year, so yesterday's price was some relief, but it's a loooooooooong way from $2.75 a couple years ago.

Little town north of us suddenly has the cheapest gas around. Right now 3.09. Local town is 3.59. North is out of my way. I need gas soon, but didn’t stop on way home. Have enough to get to work.

Buppies, at 3:10am holding a flashlight while changing propane tanks behind the house,
Curious as to why you don't have/use a headlamp type torch (flashlight) for these occasions? I have two or three around the house/property for when I need both hands free.

Higher priced items get higher priced surge protection. My big screen tv is on a APC battery backup as are both computers.
I have also had good luck with a NEWPOINT Switcher 2000 Plus power bar, but it is old, at least as old as the hills, bought it back in 1995/6. Now it is just a spacer to get my monitor up higher.
For surge protection it might be worthwhile to look into whole house surge protectors. Especially if you have hardwired things like a/c and dishwashers.

Saw an “outdoors with Morgan’s” episode where he said he charges $300 cord plus delivery for firewood. Ouch. That’s north of Pittsburgh.

Good late (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 11C and it's presently 20.6C, overcast and calm.

I got a few things accomplished yesterday, little things and mostly 'in-town' and dhobied up the work clothes (uniform :D ) from the horse dropping mulching dust.

I slept a wee bit rough last night/morning... 0330, my brain wouldn't 'shut down', yet I knew that it would eventually = slept in 'til 0900 to compensate, hence the late GM report.

I reckon it's a gash run to the tip today. I'm also thinking of replacing the O-rings on the horse trough hose connecters. We (Aus) don't use screw connects, the standard is quick-connects.

That's about it, take care all.

I bought gas today, $3.49/gallon. See what it is in a few weeks when I will need to fill up again.

Had a Great Lakes Christmas Ale at dinner tonight. Wasn’t my 1st choice, but the new draft choice didn’t impress me at all. The Christmas Ale was quite good this year. They backed off on all of the extras this year.

Thanks @PJSprog, Louie is a good looking cat. And quite the character.

Predicted high today was 35. Never saw it get to 30. Woodburner feels good

This will be first time with Christmas tree for both our cats. Wonder how they will do.
