Poured cup of hot coffee. 34° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 41° with partly cloudy skies. Shortly after posting yesterday morning. Got a call from my Sister. My BIL had passed away. May he RIP. I did get front windows washed between rain showers. Got a total of .31" Spent what seems like hours on the phone passing info on BIL to family and friends. Need to clean up shop from the mess I made with previous projects.

Morning all!
Currently 48 degrees with temps falling into the 30's all day. We got lots of rain yesterday that should help the bushes and trees overwinter. Made a final trip around the property picking up piles of leaves that were blown in from the high winds we have been getting lately.
Need to pick up the FIL this morning after he drops his car off at the garage for a few repairs. After that some grocery shopping with the wife who is walking much better. Since it's to muddy to work outside I think I will go play in the woodshop. There's a few projects I've been watching online that I want to try. I also need to set up a new sharpening jig for the turning tools that came in yesterday.
Oh well! enough rambling.

thanks Ron and Mostly, I'm worried about this morning's call. Last night was not positive, she was still delirious and making no sense.
I'm likely to go visit today, if possible, need to call BIL this morning. She's 94, on a lot of narcotics for severe OA, and has diminishing quality of life.

warm out now, 51 which is about the high of the day. .70 rain in last event.

Phil, glad wife is doing better. We all know happy wife happy life...

If I were the people in that plane, and they live, I'd go straight to church.

neighbor emailed and said she loved my xmas lights. Not many up yet in neighborhood. Today I blow up the Santa and the reindeer and see what they look like
Am worried they may look pretty cheesy but we shall see. Good ratings on Amazon and come with an air pump of some sort. Never done this before.

anyone look at the scale after Thanksgiving?. Ahhh, that's where that second piece of pumpkin pie went...

Good morning,

45° and foggy now, mostly sunny, with a high near 49. NW wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. We had 3/4” rain yesterday, would like some more before the ground freezes up.

Not sure where the weekend disappeared to, other than a dump run and a trip for critter food not much was accomplished. Must have been the turkey “overload” lol.

Wally World pick up this morning and time to put the plow on the tractor before we see snow. Not sure what else I’ll get into today.

The two people were rescued from the transmission tower with injuries but expected be ok. The 45 year old Mooney plane was brought down with a crane

Pilot and passenger rescued from plane. Had a head on (perfectly) with the power tower. Skewered it.

Nothing on the agenda today. Taking wife to see doctor.

Good Morning
It’s a damp 53 out after .55” of rain, which is over now. Clearing and getting cooler throughout the day.

Yesterday i got the countertop project finished, but now a friend has volunteered to saw up some ash boards to finish the wall and ceiling in that area. Primarily to make work for me and to get used to his WoodMizer sawmill.

Got all my wife’s stuff moved back home from the Holiday Market, she said it was well attended by people eager to buy things.

Today I’m off to FL again, into the wind, almost 3 hours down, and 2:15 home unless we get rerouted over land.. No new puppy pictures, not much else to report other than it’s been decided that Christmas will be at our house this year.

I think I will see if I can figure out why the V plow would not go on the SSQA last time it snowed.

Other than that the plan is to conserve energy.

Got tree and is in holder. Waiting for wife to decorate.
Did not get lights up due to rain.
Got some more outlet box nails ground out and another panel up.
carbide burrs working well so far.

Today HD is supposed to deliver new 13 foam boards, hopefully these are not damaged.

Son had GF over yesterday so had to clean house a bit.

well, back to day job. Rough after 4 days off.

39F and cloudy @ 08:00, heading up to a high of only 44F.

Got some mudding done on the two remaining patches yesterday, may get it finished up later today.

Also got another couple sets of dahlias tubers pulled out of their grow bags, only two more to go.

Have to order some anti-fungal dust for those and the gladiolus corms today.

Some saucers for flower/plant pots rinsed off in the stationary tubs in the basement then brought back upstairs once they were dry.

Woman spent most of the day cleaning up in the kitchen generally, as well as the cabinet where some of the pots and pans are stored.

Spent a bunch of time in the fish room last night catching up on tank and other maintenance, still a long ways to go though.

Part of that will be to head over to Home Depot here in a bit and pick up 4 or 5 replacement LED bulbs - hopefully under warranty - for the ones that have apparently burned out ...

But that will probably be about it as far as venturing outside goes. No shortage of things to do inside.

Ran out last night down to the corner store and noticed when I stopped to get the mail that the cans up at the road had been knocked over ... so apparently we did get the gusty winds they were calling for. Fortunately they were empty.

Also it doesn't look like much in the way leaves have gotten blown back onto to the lawn - apparently they were wet enough that they stayed where we hoped they would.

Good Morning!!!! 43F @ 5:15AM.
A mix of clouds and sun. High 59F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.
Rain, and maybe snow, toward the end of the week.

More progress on the red bike, and another dragon egg. Got the air box on, ran new fuel line, installed new starter, and got a start on installing the new charging system. The speedo cable was broken off the end of the speedo, leaving the threaded plastic stub stuck in the end of the cable. I was able to get the stub out of the end of the cable, but now not sure if it'll fit back on the speedo itself. Got a long list of parts to pick up in town this week to rebuild the carbs.

Good morning! 39 now and slightly foggy. Was 39 when I got up at 6. High is supposed to be 44 today.

Was pretty comfortable temperature yesterday, just rain in the morning, off and on rain and some wind in the afternoon. We ran some errands in the afternoon. I screwed around with setting up a Lucas magneto. Need to get the proper tool to set the timing. Hopefully I can find a pack of rolling papers fairly easy. Forgot that tool yesterday when we were in town.

Condolences for your BIL Ron.

Not sure what today will bring. I will find something.
