Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
Good morning! 36 and sunny. High of 57 today.
Congratulations on the new gig PJ!
Turkey is in the smoker. Pecan wood chips are smelling good. We are eating around 4.
We had a contractor here doing some work at the barn. 2 guineas were seriously spooked by them and would not go into the barn. They ran into the woods instead. We were out around 6:30 last night with lights seeing if they would go in. They were still in the woods and were making noise. Finally gave up and figured they were toast. When I went out this morning to fire up the smoker, the 2 guineas were outside of the barn. They must have figured out survival skills in a hurry.
Welcome Yander….another one from Ohio.
Been busy just doing stuff. Likely continue being busy….always something to do. Did get the valves adjusted on the 1952 BSA. It wasn’t as hateful of a project as I expected. Tedious but not terrible. Hopefully I have the correct clearance as within BSA’s own literature there is about 6 different clearances listed for the B range singles. Depends on cams used and type of top end. Maybe I will tackle setting ignition timing next. That has at least 3 different settings listed.
Everyone stay safe out there,
