You did not miss much. It is the location of the Sammis Plant by Firstenergy expanding out over route 7 at the river

Well, a frustrating attempt to re-locate the "mixer lift" to fit the new mixer.... the new 'pro model' is 3" taller and has a lift handle on the side. Unfortunately, lowering it to the furthest point down to allow it to 'arc' out of the cabinet, won't allow the mixer to go in by an inch.....

Only solution would be to cut out the bottom of the cabinet....wifey says "NO!"

So, out came the mechanism. I'll look at it and see if I can modify it to get the clearance needed. In the meantime, I am now the primary "lifter outer".....

After 2 hours of frustration, I didn't want to tackle any other projects.... called it quits for the day and went and got pizza for dinner. It was a nice reward....

It was a sad to hear about the crash at the air show at Dallas - Ft Worth. I have seen and toured inside the B-17 (at least I think it is the same one). There wasn't a chance anyone survived that crash, happened way too fast at low altitude. Prayers for the crew and family members.

Good mid (Sunday) arvo. Overnight Low was 10C and the High has barely climbed above 13C due to a Southerly breeze. It is, as predicted, raining steadily... started at 0730 and I didn't bother checking the gauge. I'll do that tomorrow as this weather is supposed to continue until Tuesday.

Good evening all. 29ºF for the start, clear sky, windy. Moderate wind most of the day, sky mostly clear, and high temp was 51ºF. Scooter decided 5:30 AM wake up time, and go outside time. Got coffee made and fire started before wife woke up Had some draft issues until fire established, probably because of windier than normal. Bike ride did not start until 10:30, and we shortened to 42 miles. 1.7 mile air penalty. Nap after lunch. Saw on news about CAF plane crash, not much info known.
Randy(wag) hope wood does not get too wet. Did not know you have scorpions that hide in the wood.
NHBX getting some nice rain.

A very good friend was likely flying the B17. I heard from his wife that he was on the airplane, but no other details. He was active in its restoration, and was rated to fly it.

Drinking hot cup of coffee. 31° with some snow flakes falling this morning. Heading to 38° with cloudy skies. Got all the leaves picked up for this year yesterday. Neighbor came with his tractor and my trac-vac. Hooked up suction hose and went around all my and his buildings and gardens picking up all the leaves. Then the sxxw came down. Nothing stuck to the ground like pictures friends sent me from southern IL. Water lines are blown out. Still have some yard ornaments to put aways for the winter. Should get that done before going out with friends for Sunday dinner.
Birds keep pecking away at seed cakes.

Still having thoughts about Roy. May he RIP.
