A good day on the tractor could see getting my flail mowing caught up. New bracket and belt working well.

Trip to hospital went OK. They wired me up and observed for a while and said all was now acceptable so they sent me home. BP has settled down but need to go on stronger meds.

So the rubber work out bands are working out well with lots of reps for the right arm and shoulder. Using the 30 lbs weights puts to much strain on the shoulder so will use those for the left arm and push ups over the shoulder which seems to be ok. Got a full set of the bands but using the green mostly. Pushups seems to be ok as well. I like to keep up my muscles as much as possible since I am a very active 80 year old. Used to work out at the Y for bench pressing general weight lifting but since my wife is immune compromised we don't want to risk that any more

Well, I can hear God chuckling. Raining just intense enough that it will be hours before dry enough to mow - maybe.
Sophie says maybe supposed to be an easy day.

Had a nice hike today...was 15 degrees cooler up there. Hiked up a mountain named Baldface Mtn. Could hardly believe when I walked up on an active nest of baldface hornets.

Good (Saturday) morning. A lovely calm night with a Low of 5.4C... woke up to a heavy fog. It's still calm and the current temperature is 14.8C.

A little update on today's AGFEST; it's still 'on' but they'd suspended selling anymore tickets for today.

I've unloaded the ute and the new batteries are being charged... all four of them have now been numbered so that I can keep track of which is which.

That's about it as I'm still, somewhat, bodily recovering from Thursday's efforts. Take care all.

ADT tech finally showed up around 4:30pm ... so much for taking a half day from work. Same guy as last time, and told us pretty much the same things again. Since he's only a service guy, he can't help us, and was actually miffed that they sent him knowing there is no fix for this except replacement/upgrade. He has no authority to do that without direction from above. So, I have to call them again on Monday. Wife was livid that this still isn't resolved. Depending on what information I can get over the weekend from a few other companies, I may not bother.

The tech reset everything and left, and it started beeping and flashing the same failure code before he'd even reached the end of our driveway. (sigh)

Good evening all. 69ºF for the start, partly cloudy, very light breeze. llight wind, sky cloded up some more, and high temp was 90ºF, HI 94ºF. Bike ride to start the day, was going to mow front, but not enough time before lunch and eye exam. Trip to town to get new form-a-gasket and cabin filter for truck, lunch and eye exam. Cataracts are growing but not issue eyes look good minimal change in prescription from last time. Glasses will take two weeks and are expensive ($600) Did get nap, eyes did not light the amount of sunlight after dilation
