Well, bugger. As I mentioned, I'm expecting a 'rain event' of, possibly, a month's worth of rain Sunday/Monday...

A "Flood Watch" alert has just been issued. It's Friday evening.

I'll be right at my elevation... it may be more as a warning for livestock. Fun times ahead.

Change in plans...turns out Stepdaughter does have to work today, so I'll be working from home. Not much going on today, workwise.
Did have a very successful call with a customer yesterday. All told, a good week!!

Good morning! 72˚F heading to the upper 90s. Still no rain. I hope we stay out of the triple digits but they also predicted only 90s yesterday but we had a solid 100˚ for hours.

My hearing aids are not filtering out crowd noise as well as the last ones so a trip to Costco for an adjustment.

Haven't had the heart to be on here much lately. Lesley hasn't been well.
I took her to the Dr today and they called an Ambulance and sent her into Hospital. Heart playing up probably caused by sleep aponea. They need to run some more tests so it is wait and see at the moment.

66 outside this AM, showers just moved through, heading to lower 80's.

About the only thing right about yesterday was ice cream with the wife. I thought I could get to my big box store and get some more foam boards insulation for the Milk House. I had a nice list of needs and walked out with two cans of hornet spray. Checking on-line I found what I needed at another store location and will be heading there shortly.

My goal is to get another side hooked up for water/plumbing/electric and foam board this weekend.

And...probably grass cutting and weed-whacking.

Sorry to hear of all the health issues going around. All I can say is hang in there, hope for the best, stay positive.

should be a nice warm summer day today
relatives coming over this morning for a tomato exchange, just saying hi.

we will open one potato bag to investigate. I'm afraid I have generation skipped; maybe I left them in there too long and now
the potatoes are resprouting. I keep getting new green shoots when everything should be dying. First time for this, will be interesting to see what
is inside the potato bags this morning. Children and perhaps grandchildren.

Doug, best wishes for your wife feeling better soon. We all send our prayers.
