Good morning!!!!

Good morning to all! Low was 58°, going up to the mid 80's again. No rain, storms all around again, but never made it here. Some areas had flood warnings. Maybe today will get some.....

BEF, I pulled one front wheel and there was at least half of the pads left, so didn't go any further.... no brake job needed.
Finished up with the detailing on the car. The cheap PW actually worked good, for my uses. The oil change didn't happen.... the oil filter was for the truck, not the car.... A trip to the auto parts store is in order today....

I attempted to polish the car's headlights by hand.... not going to happen..... my hands started cramping. I will get one of the 'kits' made for the job. I watched a few YouTube videos, that kit will make life much easier.

Did get half of the irrigation zones watered, second half will be done today.....that should make it rain....

Bunch of things to do.... need to transplant some trees into bigger pots, need to transplant some shrubs out of pots into the ground. Need to layout the courtyard walkway. Truck maintenance due shortly. Still need to find a home for the dust collector. Need to start taking the string trimmer for a walk again.... Plenty of stuff to pick from.....

Everyone has a great day!

Good luck on your new tractor job.

The train has a vegetarian option...not to your standards. (You have to pick from a drop down menu when purchasing tickets).

Here is Wong's

WONG'S TACOS
Buckeye mentioned the veggie burgers, but 90% of the time those burgers are store bought and have way too much fat or cheese or eggs added. Like most places around here I would have to inquire and decide if the person on the other end of the phone knew what they were talking about and actually found the ingredient list on the burgers they serve.
Wong's tacos is also a questionable place. Some sides might work if they don't have meat broth or oils added, again too many question to ask and I might as well make it myself. At least when a "Vegan" option is listed on the menu the question list starts out to be very short. When a vegetarian option is offered there is some possibilities if they can produce the plate without some ingredients, like not putting on cheese.

Some day it will be as common as a non-smoking area option but probably not in my lifetime.

After the discussion about PEX earlier, I forgot to mention that I used PEX A for the airline that I ran on Monday.
Good thing you added a pic, I was wondering where you would put PEX in an airplane, then I saw the air (space) line.🙂

First handful of tomatillos I have ever harvested. Now I need to find a recipe.

69°F and .86 inches rain.

Yesterday I tried a dilute mixture with the foam gun. Today I want to try a more concentrated mixture. Thinking straight Dawn/Bleach 1-4. PW adds significant water. Anybody any experience doing this?

Still not breathing as deeply as I should which is a bit concerning.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Do you like baked or fried okra? After enough heat the "seedy snotty goo" dries up.
Nope. Never met an okra I liked either. Also not a fan of mushrooms (fungi).

Fortunately for us, most of the things The Wife or I dislike are generally liked by the other. If I get food with tomatoes or mushrooms, I simply remove them and give them to her. She's not a fan of hot peppers, so those get shoveled off to me. It evens out for us in the end.

I just found out that the tomatillos in the pic above are overripe. They are overripe when the paper-like shell cracks and they turn a pale yellow. I am modifying my recipe search on how to prepare "over ripe" tomatillos.

My wife baked some yellow squash pieces mixed with potatoes. Normally I don’t eat squash, but decided to eat some to please her. It was ok. Nothing special. Love fresh tomatoes, none ripe yet.

Yesterday we had first of our own corn. Still young, but good. First time doing it in microwave which turned out well. Figure we might as well start eating it before the coons and groundhogs get it.
