In Texas you can tell April is right around the corner when the Bluebonnets start showing. The state flower.

I am...appointment is on 12 April...
Go to a walk in clinic, if you need to be seen sooner. They can get you to higher health care, if needed, with more expediency.

Billy, if you're worn out, I would be thrashed if I did all you did.

Drew, my SIL had TMJ (gritting teeth), she got some surgery. This was at least a decade or more ago. She's better now, but I don't think tinnitus was a symptom for her.

Popgadget, I love those pictures. Above the clouds, in your own little world, above all the world's turmoil's, if just for a few hours. Does she cruise around 435-450 knots give or take? Maybe more light loaded?

Bupps, praying for your healing and feeling better, and for our team.

I hope some of you get to see this tonight. I was 5 or so the only time I saw the Northern lights in KY.

Scaried the crap out of me. Actually it was my emotional grandfather running around shouting the lord is come that scared the crap out of me.

I thought the green sky was beautiful.

39F with some rain @ 22:45.

Got battery charger hooked up on the van.

Then headed up to the shop and fired up the double-barrel stove.

Worked on doing clean up and putting some tools away.

Also fished the remnants of the other (rear) yoke and u-joint out of the center frame tunnel section on the Kubota. Still need to locate my magnetic pickup tools.

Wasn't much left of the u-joint. Also scraped and blew that area out, had a lot of grass debris that was soaked with hydraulic oil in there. Need to bring up a smaller plastic scraper and a couple other blowguns tomorrow from the house.

Cleaned off some wire clamps and the carrier bearing and housing in the parts washer, need to clean out the parts washer and change the fluid in it ... it's pretty bad ... 🤮

Loaded up the stove and banked it down before I left, temp inside the building was 81F ... hopefully will be relatively warm tomorrow morning ... :giggle:

Will finish up at least one plant order and then grab a shower before I hit the rack.

Hope everyone had a great day.

Texas is famous for bluebonnets and Bluebell Ice cream but not blue bell flowers.😊
I noticed the first Bluebonnets of the year in my neighborhood yesterday.

47° this morning going for 68° with a 50% chance of more rain late tonight.

Around 1959-60 we were able to see the Aurora in northeastern NC for a couple of nights. It was fairly faint but distinct enough to see.

48 outside this AM. Heading to mid 50's.

Been busy at work and on the home front. Restarted the Milk House renovation. All cleaned out and a "new" door installed. Had to rework the framing from the concrete up. Ordered new windows and they are awaiting install. Had to return one, the big box store messed up and gave me the wrong one. Did not notice it until I got home. No grilles vs grilles. Another hour on the road to return and pickup.

Accessing storm damage from yesterday. Had a microburst that took out some trees, half a run in shed roof, barn windows and more trees. Lucky no animals were hurt. Called the insurance company, and today is clean up day.

Hope all are doing well. Stay safe.

Praying for Ukraine.

Good morning, low temp 24 going to a high off 30°F. Wind NNW 15 gusting to 21 mph. 60% chance of flurries. We've gotten 1/2" of snow overnight. :(
It is going to warm up next week, so maybe I can get some stuff done.
Other than the drive south from the bay, I never experienced the 'high winds' that we were warned about.

I've already tucked the block heater cord back in it hole where it lives for the summer under the hood of the Dodge, so it had better not get cold again.

The two day seminar coming up has turned into a three day session. The good thing is the company is picking up two of the motel rooms I had booked. This is a good thing.

One of the stops in the Markham area isn't going to happen...I don't need to sell some silver now, so I will sit on it and maybe buy some more depending on how much loot I have left before my first paycheck of the season.

I don't know what I will get into today, but I can guarantee it wont be much.

Have a safe day all

Been studying the 10 day forecast, little dicey to plant outside yet

Rip, sorry you lost that roof.

53 going to 62 and windy again...only .15" of rain here yesterday.

Don, those old tractors are cool. It's amazing to see some like those get restored and look brand new...an RFD show called Classic Tractor Fever often shows that. Are they on your neighborhood's property?

Glad you're feeling better, BEF.

Kyle, nice work on that rod. How's the job decision coming?

Took a day off, kinda, and did a Costco run with my sweet wife...I say kinda because after lifting 40 lb bags of bird seed, 40 bottle packs of water, and other mega size goods, I feel like I went to the gym. Then went to the Tex-Mex place for a lunch treat. The gas line wasn't too bad, just 2 cars, but the guy in front struggled for over 5 minutes to try to get the pump to take his Amex card. I caught up with him inside shopping and we had a good laugh.

Morning all, 52 and lots of rain/wind last night, but no power outages. Guess most of the Ash near the lines has fallen?

Didn't get much done, changed the face shield out on my forester helmet.

Rip- glad it was only outbuildings that got hit. Hope insurance covers everything.

Pools guy was here to repair the broken pipe, cement cutting, new fittings on 2 places. Glad he finally came, will be ready for opening day.

Stays safe and be well,
