Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #74,011
It was 29* this morning when I got up. Yesterday was mostly cloudy and windy. Today is going to be about the same, overcast, windy and in the mid 50's. The snow is slowly melting but it will still be awhile before its all gone.

Happy anniversary to Buckeyefarmer.

Helped the neighbor get his four wheeler out the snow yesterday. It surprised me that he could drive it that far on crusted snow that was two feet deep. Ended up going back and getting his skid steer to dig it out. He was about 30 yds off the road.

Making the weekly trip to town today.

Hope everyone has a nice day.
CWB.
My nephew and his girlfriend is moving to Rexburg Idaho. How far is that from you? He doesnt have a job there yet, but has a computer degree.

Good morning to all! Low of 42, going up to 68. No rain, no nothing. Going to get windy starting tommorow thru Sunday.

Welcome back Mike! Glad to here the Mrs is still recovering and improving slow but sure. You are doing the right thing...she needs your help. It is rediculous how insurance companies can just change the rules whenever they want. Prayers out to you and the Mrs, hang in there, it will work out

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to Mr and Mrs Buckeye!

I'm behaving myself so far after surgery. It took 2 1/2 hours longer than expected. Dr took out multiple pieces of broken meniscus. Showed me the pics, but was way to groggy to really see. Unbelievable how the pain I was enduring was gone! Naturally there is the surgical pain / swelling, but that is nothing in comparison! The doc prescribed Percocet and they gave me 2 just before leaving the hospital. Now I really know I'm 'different'... Post op they said that I'd be 'groggy' for a day or two.. Figured probably true especially with the Percocet.... No way... Woke up and stayed up! Laid in bed from 9:30 last night wide awake until the last time looking at the clock at 04:00....hardly any pain, only a slight ache...just wide awake! Up at 06:00, maybe a nap later...maybe not a good idea...then won't sleep again tonight!
Anyway the doc said "good success", can bear light, intermittent weight today and slowly increase to full by Sunday, barring any complications / difficulties. I then asked him: "cool, so I can start building the new house by Monday ?" He just chuckled. I'm not going through this again, so I'll behave.;) (maybe);)

Jay- maybe that was some good news about Brogen? Not as bad as previously thought?

RNG- SOUNDS like a big step forward...literally...Congrats

For all those needing prayers... They are out! Everyone have a safe enjoyable day.

70°F and no rain. A pretty morning

Nothing major planned for the day other than a bit of studying for my Ham Tech. Must be getting old, some of the more technical stuff doesn’t seem to be sticking but my practice exams are getting better.

Prayers for all

Be safe
Have a great day

LS- I am glad to see you posting again. I got wired on Precasts too. I wonder if there is caffeine in the Tylenol's composition? Some NSAID's have caffeine. I stopped it because it messed with my lungs and and worse my GI system. I preferred the discomfort to "binding up."

Brogen's care is "easier" with our vet's diagnosis. There are no auto-immune allergic reactions and kibble size does not matter. We feed our dogs "grain free" canned mixed with a decent quality dry feed with easy to digest grains, grain free, or limited ingredient as needed by the dog(s). I made myself even crazier researching different "healthy" dog food out (again).

RIP, welcome back. Tough to sell equipment. Best wishes for wifes recovery.

I know i went thru a lot of "what ifs" after my surgery and slow healing. I contemplated early retirement, selling a tractor, etc.., but it somehow worked out.

LS, glad surgery went well.

The farmer is discing the field I see the deer in with a 1980's model Chalmers. Can just see a section of the field but it is good to see him going back and forth. Ed

Glad to hear the surgery went well, Ted. If you're still feeling as chipper tomorrow when the meds wear off, you'll know you're on the right track. Whatever you do, listen to your body and follow doctor's orders, OK? That'll maximize your chances for a full recovery and fastest healing, but one false move could set you back weeks or even months. The general they gave you put your bowl to sleep, too, and it sometimes takes a day or two to wake up again. As Jay mentioned, the opioid pain meds tend to come with a constipation side effect, so you get a double whammy. Keep that in mind before you tear into your first big meal before things get back to normal. Oh, but wait, you're a medical pro, so all this stuff is probably old hat to you, right? Knowing and doing are two different things, so maybe a reminder doesn't hurt, huh?:D

Really good to hear from two "missing" Good Morning!!!! thread buddies in the same morning! Almost like a family reunion.
