Good morning to all! Low of 30°, but only going up to 42°. There was a weird orange tinted sunrise this morning..... ended up being some snow flurries moving in.... but orange tint? .... I thought there was a wildfire going on...

No real snow accumulation expected here, but north of us getting quite a bit. We are right on the edge, so winds will be kicking the porch chairs around again. 25-35 mph with gusts to 50. Tomorrow will be a re-do of today.

Didn't do the oil changes yesterday, not gonna happen today either. Decided to stay inside and assemble an R/C airplane thats been in the box for about 10 years. It's a little pusher jet.... should be super fast with the high powered brushless motor going into it.

I had to stop the assembly when I realized the 15 min epoxy I had went bad. Need to get some today so I can continue.

Wifey is making homemade chicken vegetable soup, the house is smelling good.

Everyone have a great day!

Good morning.
It’s 52 and climbing. Light rain and fog.
A gloomy day overall.

Yesterday’s trip started with my favorite copilot calling out sick. Trip went well and on schedule, had a nice lunch at mission bbq with my copilot as planned. Just a different copilot.
Got home in time to cut up some acrylic sheet for my son and play some music before calling it a day.

Todays rain isn’t going to help the swamp that I have anywhere off the pavement. Daughter came for breakfast, I made pancakes. After breakfast, she went to her brother’s to watch my grandson.
Not positive what I’m going to do for the rest of the day, but I’m sure it won’t involve a tractor.

64°F and .08 inches rain

A modicum of success yesterday, continuation today.

Good visit with BIL and guests.

Guys lost at H&F, ending our win streak at 4. We only had 2 decent rounds of the 7, otherwise it was all gals.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Morning all 43 and some rain coming through.
Bought a cheap $99 patio heater. Need to get a 20 or 30lb tank. See a new filled 20# is $65 ??
Used to pay $35 full 3 years ago. Rain day so it will be assembled today.

Son in drumline competition yesterday 5th out of 7 teams in their class, but they pulled more points than last week. Day for us started with truck loading and ended back here after 8pm.

Learned a friend I used to bike and fish with in elementary school did not survive heart surgery :-(
Imagine us doing those trips today 8 miles each way to the north shore of Long Island at 9-10 years old and not parental supervision...My parents never knew until years later, and gee, we did just fine.

My wife uses a separate credit card to track food shopping costs. This helps us budget, but also shows we are paying 30-50% more than three years ago!

BEF - hope you are wearing mask around the mouse droppings, nasty stuff.

Hear the fox kits in the woods. Sounds like more than one??

Stay safe and be well,

How about ten years after the hobbit. If one likes the drums they are pretty good. Always was a fan of Ginger Baker with Cream though this guy might have been better

Rich, that carryall means more fun seat time for you. I bet you'll find a million uses for yours.

on the farm I had a large subcompact MF, think Kubota B size, 27hp Iseki with oversized new turf tires all around.
Had a carryall on back and I always looked for ways to use it. That little tractor had the softest ride of anything I owned, including the
big JD X750 garden tractor. I had aired the new turf tires down a little, I wasn't going fast or carrying much, so the ride was super soft and
was invisible on lawn. Used it to take the trash cans out the long lane some times if they were heavy, just a nice drive around tractor, and with the
carryall in back, always carried a pair of loppers with me.

Now build a comfy seat on the back for your wife and you can chauffeur her around.... ;)
Or perhaps a beer keg back there?
Now there's an idea for you David/Sodamo; bungee a kegger to your tractor.

which begs the silly question:
can one get arrested for drunk driving of a tractor off public roads? 🚜

Nice hearing from our long lost David, raising teenage and college girls now, new place, hope the job and newish home are great MossFlower

You know when you go through an album and some of them you know aren't the best? Seems all of Eric Clapton's music showed such talent, no bad songs
What a prolific artist, what he has done with others and himself, remarkable.

I must admit I like music I can understand the words to, or just instrumental.
I'm afraid my tinnitus will no longer tolerate Purple Haze

which reminds me I have to fill out this questionnaire for Costco hearing aid test next week.
Maybe with the right hearing aids I can crank up the volume a bit. That would be nice.

Interesting thought, Drew. Exercising my memory, but I don’t recall ever enjoying a beer on the LS and likely no more than a handful of times on either the Case or Kioti, but I have enjoyed when taking a break.
