Interesting Dermatologist visit this morning.
First Dr ofc we’ve encountered that required alligator cards, copied along with insurance and ID.
Dr frozen 1 area and prescription of a precancer skin ointment to be used on both areas. Of course, pharmacy didn’t have in stock and had to order.

Humidity coming back, rain forecast for Sunday. Slow start, meant to get more work done on wood pile, but puttered initially then out for bike ride to beat the worst of the wind. nap after lunch then fill in the YouTube rabbit hole :(.

Interesting thoughts, Drew. TBN is ad supported and that’s fine.
I, for one, would NOT join a subscription forum, nope, not even @ $.99. Bad idea!!!

Me neither.

Mostly, working backwards in time, and won’t go back 32 yrs. I got the last 6 years in great shape now.

Doing an all category search works well, except for years with miss categorized entries. Or just using miscellaneous.
I still have a household expenses category that has a lot of items in it, Supposed to be consumed items, vs personal property for belongings you would take if you move.
Also created a tool subcategory to kind of keep track of major ones.
Food is a separate category, with dining a sub category. Most of my undocumented cash expenditures also gets put there, as that’s what I spend most cash on. I don’t track each cash purchase unless notable item.
All Costco items is household, even for food items same with Walmart. All grocery store stuff is food. I stopped splitting receipts, unless it’s a major item I want to track, like if I get a tv at Costco, it’s personal property.

Got major categories and most sub categories in pretty good shape.

I’ve got everything sent to financial guy, this is me being **** about making things perfect.

N2 in tires if filled at Costco, air if done at home.

Hope to take more oil to recycle tomorrow. Will be sleeping in.
If I don’t get shed empty soon, it might wait till next winter.

32 going to 64.

BEF, I used to use Quicken, mainly for billpaying/check printing...but when online banking started billpayer service, I quit.

LS, sorry about that continuing knee problem. I hope it gets better.

Great guitar players...also love the pedal steel, mandolin, fiddle and banjo when played in the right music...and like one wise musician said, "one good thing about music, when it hits, you feel no pain."

Yesterday cut some firewood, and did some crepe murder...what many call pruning a crepe myrtle...but I was only reshaping the top to balance out some damage from the deep freeze two years ago.

I was out of the house early this morning, to go get the bloodwork drawn. Got to the lab, shouldn't have even gotten out of the truck as the little voice inside suggested.... about 20 people waiting, for only 3 phlebotomist. No receptionist up front, only a new touch screen on a podium, asking what you were there for..... then spits out a number.

I left and went back home. Reviewed the grocery list with the wifey, added a few things, and got my list of needed things at the hardware store. Decided it would be a good day for errands.

I was going by the lab again, so I stopped in again.... now only 3 people waiting, so took the opportunity. Took about 15 mins to get to the back, and another 10 to be done. The phlebotomist told me to make an appointment next time (that's a new policy). She said even if there's a long wait / crowd, you just go right in..... wish I new that beforehand.

Then finished up all the errands. No shortages of anything on the list.

I am undecided on the new knee brace. Yes, it prevented the "buckling" of the knee, but by the time I got home, the knee looked like a balloon with a tight string around the center..... mmmm, wonder if that's good....

Still waiting for authorization from the insurance to make the appointment for the nerve specialist..... I hope they don't drag their feet....

I got blood drawn yesterday as well, only that lab no longer takes appointments and three ladies did everything from clerk to phlebotomist.
Now when you go in there are kiosks that you check in on, you type in info then put your drivers license, then both sides of insurance card on the reader. They were rather curt as well. I hadn’t been to that lab in a few years, only went there because they open at six, won’t go back.

my thoughts on fee services were just to float an idea, not promoting it.
This group spends a lot of money on tractors and equipment. Those companies are happy to buy advertising
and we reap the benefits. And if those tractor and equipment companies were smart, they'd have a team of folks reading these blogs
every day or week. See what the buzz is. Pretty sure Messick's does, that's one smart dealership.
They are a couple of hours West of here but might make a nice day trip to Amish country.

Of course if it was a fee site Muhammad would be able to give away a free tractor every month
and that might be fun... ;)

Sometimes it's a good idea to stay simple.
And simply be appreciative of what a nice opportunity we are given.
if it ain't broke...

Hope you have a fun Saturday.
