Ooooo, what a day. Cardiologist wants to do a nuclear stress test in 3 weeks. Doesn't like the swelling of the leg..... In addition to the problem sleeping....in addition to the few PVC beats on the ECG.... Explained that it is more of a "rule out possible problem vs. You HAVE a problem". He also wants a full blood workup. He doesn't suspect anything is wrong, but wants to make sure.

Other than that, the weather was an absolute tease today... sunny, calm, high of 71°. BUT....only a tease... windy tomorrow afternoon, Friday gusts to 50mph, the weekend highs in the low 40's, chance of snow at night. Anybody else on the weather roller coaster? Temp swing today was 52°.

I hope tomorrow's visit with the ortho surgeon doesn't have any surprises.....
Prayers for your cardio.
No Mostly, I was in the Ranger, not the Mustang LOL. I would have been going faster in that. :)
i was lucky to get home from Gatton today as they evacuated Grantham again while I was shopping. Had to do some fast talking to SES and then past 2 lots of police to get through. Grantham was totally deserted. They said flood waters were on the way. (again) I had to drive through some (3 lots) to get home. No problem in the Ranger.
Bought a new diesel Jerry can and filled it and my old one just in case. Power went off briefly again sometime last night but it didn't affect us. Wondering how some of my working neighbours are going to get home tonight.
I managed to mow and whipper snip yesterday. Probably got an acre and a half done with the ZT. It was a hot sunny day out of the blue. Thunderstorms and more rain today. Missed the 5 - 6 cm hailstones that some areas got.
Transport company has tried to deliver my flail mower parts twice now from Brisbane but met roadblocks/floods each time.
Prayers for dry weather. And Happy birthday to Doug's wifey!
Bad news Roy and Bird. My EGO lawnmower will not start. There must be a short someplace. I looked at some YouTube videos the one that jumped all the safety switches with a sort jumper wire looked promising but the ones they were working on were newer, so I decided to just get a new mower because I need a new battery anyway.

Kyle If you want an challenging EGO I'll be in Giddings next week and you can have it free with free delivery. I'll throw in an older battery and slow charger and a few other options. But if you fix it in 5 minutes tell me it took you 5 days.
Yes Don, I will try to see if I can get it going. My wife says it would be a good workout tool for her and the kids.

Drew, I wish the Russian soldiers were just delivering muffins....
for world peace I would surely donate my muffins (y)
they taste better than they look, glad I added some extra Truvia to add a touch more sweetness since
I took the box mix (whole grain) with all its sugar and doubled the mix with an equal amount of a whole grain 7 blend flour I have.
That cuts the sugar content of each muffin way down, and the minced apples add some extra sweetness.
But much less sweet than anything store bought. Wish I wasn't out of applesauce, keep forgetting to buy it.
Added a little vanilla and some ground flax seed. And one more egg than asked for since I added so much more flour.
So a somewhat healthy muffin.
Still had half a cup of canola oil but that was about half requested. I figured the blueberries and apples would keep the moisture in and they did.

Almost melted half a stick of butter to put in mix but decided folks can heat them up and add their own butter.

Here's a link to the only Ukrainian I'm aware of on TBN (there may be others).

Vyacheslav built his own 2 wheel walk behind tractor. It is awesome watching his ingenuity genius, utilizing what's available to make his own gardening machine. I hope you enjoy the thread as mush as I did. I posted I'm praying for his country and his family's safety.

Like smoke and oakum - 30F outside and slick - man, it's slick. Skated all the way across and down the porch and out to the Taco Wagon. Glad nobody saw that performance. HEAVY fog is coating everything with ice and frost.

It got up to 45F today but winter isn't ready to give up yet. It is supposed to get down to 15F tonight.

This guy can Play.

Chris
Yes Chris, that guy is fantastic. I have seen his version of "Somebody that I used to know" and it is great too.

Here's one of my favorites,

Notice Doyle Bramhall II playing upside down guitar. My brother played this way, because we were poor, and he was left handed. Somebody loaned him a right handed guitar when he was maybe 13. brother has been gone from this world since 1990.

63°F and no rain.

Dermatologist appointment for Sophie this morning. Initial appointment with this guy but he has treated several friends over the years.
Then off to Safeway, $5 Friday. Hopefully back home in time to salvage a few hours work.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Yes Don, I will try to see if I can get it going. My wife says it would be a good workout tool for her and the kids.
All boxed up and ready to deliver next week. I found the receipt, in 2014 I bought the 20" push with 5ah battery and quick charger for $499. It pushes so easy your wife and kids will not get a decent workout. I'm including a reg. charger and 3 - 2.5ah end of life batteries that run for a very short time but enough to test if you get it fixed. (They turned the blade on the new mower for a minute.) Also included is side chute, plug, bag and owners manual.

Bird do you use the bag, side chute or the plug. I just use the plug in the Summer and mulch the grass. For the removal of dead grass in the Spring I use the bag.

I thought that guitar playing was amazing.
And interesting to see long fingernails on one hand and trimmed on the other for different
parts of the guitar. He must have tough nails, uses his fingernails instead of a pic.

Here's a quick side story, my buddy somehow had a gas lawnmower engine without a frame. Driving by the small engine shop here in Giddings, he spotted a lawnmower frame with no engine. The guy only wanted $10 bucks for the frame. Repurposing made good. Buddy is enjoying his $10 buck lawnmower.

I see where the new EGO mowers are $399. Cheaper than 8 years ago. I wonder if they are better? Let us know.

Prayers for our team, our country, Ukraine, and peace.

Have a great day.

32°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 64° today.

Mostly_, there are quite a few places I could stop for gas while in Missouri. However, I absolutely refuse to stop anywhere in the city. It's just too dangerous.
Here's a picture taken out one of the shop windows yesterday of a bust in progress at the station across the street from work. 12 police cars searching 1 car, 2 arrested and carted off, and 2 more sitting cuffed waiting for their ride.

txdon said, "Bird do you use the bag, side chute or the plug. I just use the plug in the Summer and mulch the grass. For the removal of dead grass in the Spring I use the bag."

Don, I reckon I did too much mulching, so now . . . . .. Well, this morning was so nice and warm here that I went on out in my shorts and t-shirt a bit before daylight, oiled all the places in the EGO mower that you can oil, then I took the blade off, cleaned it up good on the wire wheel, then sharpened it on the grinding wheel, and put it back on. Then I "mowed" over the whole yard again, bagged 4 more bags of clippings. BUT . . . I used to mow ALL my yard, then the front yard next door and nearly half his back yard before running the battery down on the EGO mower. And now I can't even go over half my back yard without having to stop and recharge that 7.5 ah battery.

So . . . this morning, I checked availability on the Internet and found that the ACE Hardware store in Pilot Point had a new 7.5 ah battery, so I drove up there and bought it. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Hope all the equipment stays good now and I SHOULD be able to mow all my place without stopping next time.

It's almost a waste having so many great guitar players playing at the same time.

got my hair cut pretty short, then picked up some more apples on way home.
Was told to stock up next week, they are starting to run out.

Bird, sounds like you are doing pretty well and having fun. In another couple of weeks you will have been a
TBN member for 22 years. That's pretty amazing, and I hope you can give us the Corinth news for a long time.

I wonder if Muhammad ever considered offering zoom services.
Something tells me some of the snarkiness that pops up on some threads would be greatly reduced if the folks were right there looking at you...
Would take a lot of bandwidth. If it would support the establishment of increased services or functionality, if there was a small fee, I'd pay it.

Only problem might be if you were on the witness protection list. Might want to stay off international zoom...

I wonder how much the membership involvement would drop if this became a subscription service.
Not trying to give anyone a heart attack here, just wondering what interesting things might happen if this site was not 100 percent free.

More profit for Muhammad. I'm ok with that.
Apparently what is here works for him, which all of us are happy about.

I'm wondering if the words profit and our owner in the same sentence sets off an alarm on his computer... ;)

Chris, my father had a banjo, probably from college, made an unpleasant sound. Even our family dog didn't like it.

A nice acoustic guitar played by a master like that almost comes alive

an excess of riches but marvelous to listen to
Prince clearly can't stand still but that flamboyance is all him.
Haven't heard much from Steve Winwood I didn't like.
