19°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 46° today. Heard suggestions we may be up near 60° tomorrow.

It was cold and windy all day yesterday. At one point in the afternoon, I looked out the front window and saw the sun shining and it was snowing sideways. Big flakes. Didn't last long, though. Got a whole lot of nothing done yesterday, with the sole exception of ripping a bunch of CDs to one of the USB drives for my car. Added a bunch of stuff I've bought since the last update, and replaced the Rush and Enchant albums that mysteriously disappeared from the drive.

Our oldest Border Collie Evey has been starting to have some health issues, too, Paul, one of which is that she seems to be losing strength in her hind legs. She sometimes struggles to make it to the top of the stairs when coming up from the basement, and occasionally takes a spill when trying to round a corner too fast. We've had to help her up the stairs a few times. She's 13, and starting to get cloudy eyes as well. She's also The Wife's favorite, so that's eventually going to be a hard loss.
Have a safe trip. One of my oldest friends (first kid I met in kindergarten) moved to Vero Beach about two years ago. One of the most talented guitar players I've ever met.

Did anyone else notice there was an abundance of electric vehicle commercials during the Super Bowl. Conveniently there was also a charging station everywhere they parked also.

They are trying to stir up demand, for products most of us don't want. Reminds me of ads for medicine, that only a doctor can decide if we really need that particular one and then we have to be the one to ask him/her to prescribe it...

Took tractor/plow out and did my driveway, shared road and neighbors driveway.

Seems Emily had a mild stroke with those symptoms?- hope she stablizes

seem to send late tax docs.

Woke up during the night since my feet were cold. Seems our 25# Maine Coon cat has decided he likes sleeping in the bed now. He was curled up by my feet and had pushed my feet off of the bed. I had the 5# female laying on my shoulder. After moving cats out of the way, I got my feet back on the bed. He immediately curled up next to my feet again. When the alarm went off, he was well on his way to pushing my feet off the bed again.

We have a 15# Siberian Seal Lynx Point who does that. He's a total bed hog. (the only reason he's not bigger is because his original owner got him neutered too young, he should be about 22#)

62°F and 3.94 inches rain.

Enjoyed the game yesterday for the most part. Half time was a waste. Have to wonder about the last 2 minutes when suddenly the refs took over. I definitely ate too much

Pilot goes into dealer this morning, same hood release problem as Ridgeline.
