15F overnight hoping for 32F high today.ground temps keep dropping impacting house temps with no above freezing temps.

Had to visit tractor shop yesterday by Mayfield airport yesterday. Remanufactured (using our OEM injector pumps) injection pumps was $900 for 1976 MF 265 and $1000 for 1980 3600 Ford using Boothill Diesel in MO.

The tornado damage still boggles my mind. It crossed the North end of the airport runway where there was no buildings or anything but the roads that were built up on either side of it took major damage and it only missed the tractor shop by 300 ft.

13°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 38° today. It's 36° here already.

Water dispenser for chickens was frozen shut this morning. Guess I need to get out the other warmer. I think we had trouble with this one last year, too.

Made the trek to Tractor Supply in Carlyle after breakfast for more chicken feed. They seemed moderately busy this morning.

Good morning to all! Low was 17 (downright balmy compared to the other temps posted) going up to 40 (increased from 36) so not too bad. All chances of snow are gone.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Mrs. Buppies!

Drew, good for you with the upgraded room! Yes, you CAN rub it in about the warm temps.... we are there in spirit! Have fun watching the boats!

I am being lazy today.... too cold in the shop, I don't even want to walk outside. Just can't seem to get warm. Pellet stove purring along. I am sitting basically in front of it.... I used to love the cold.... Last winter I would just get a little 'chill' every now and then. This year I am always cold, even when I really shouldn't be..... mmmm, I think my internal T-stat is broken....

I am going to grill some sirloin burgers with applewood bacon for dinner, haven't decided if doing roast baby 'taters or baked mac and cheese..... also have some corn on the cob that I froze from the summer, might take that out too.... at least I can THINK it's warm out....

cloudy and not too many boats out but we had fun at the Boynton Beach inlet. Friends have nice camera setup they use for son's youtube channel Coastal Boating
The local harbor is called Pelican harbor, no wonder!
