Very nice feature my wife and son are linked to mine. If she miss places her phone easy for me to find. Very good detail. Also shows where you are and at home I can see where my truck is

27F down here, sleet last night put a coat of ice on everything not grounded. Glad I got home when I did at 6:30 . Hard freeze again tonight.

I have done a lot of travel, but only as an accidental tourist. I wonder if I would feel different if I had been in a stationary career.

The cobbler's sons, wear no shoes. Good job on the air line install. I like PEX, but have no tools to work with it.....yet.

My mom was sent home from skilled nursing. I was mad at how they did her physical re-hab. They told her not to try and get up on her own, unless they were there with her...Now they sent her home to her house, where they knew she will be living by herself. I told her that she should be getting up and trying to do for herself whilst in the skilled nursing room. That way, she'd be more sure of herself when cut loose. My sister is down there with her, and I'm going later today to take over for a day. I need to get Meals on Wheels lined up for her. And teach her how to get home delivery groceries again, along with senior citizen rides.

Belated well wishes to Bupp's and wifey's anniversary, and to rs birthday!

Randy, glad things went well. I pray for your recovery.

8°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 27° today. Last day of this cold snap for us.

We put a heat lamp in the hen house this week, and one of the eggs laid at the other end of the house was still frozen and cracked yesterday.

Close ... St James Ev. Lutheran, just about a block away. We had a crew from Virginia install a digital instrument to integrate with their existing pipes, and they had some interface issues I had to go there to resolve the first time. The second time, they'd been struck by lightning and it fried some circuit boards. We flew out there on Good Friday to get it working for them for Easter Sunday.

No severe weather this week or this weekend. Seems the weather people walked back on their predictions.

Could use a good dry spell, the place is turning into a mud pit.

Ugh on the work front, picked up some more jobs, due to retirements. Wife says I should back out, again myself. Kind of agree, just don't like the work anymore. Plus I have not been truly employed in a long while, so going full time is - hard.

Could be worse.

Oh, what is up with LED light bulbs? I have replaced three in the last month, just outside lights. I thought they lasted forever? All three are less than a year old. Maybe the cold got to them? Or poor quality? Something to think about.

I’ve had the same issue with LED bulbs, lost 4 in about a year.

been going through a lot of wet swampy land in Georgia
I see other trains going by over a ways, we are probably waiting for them.
pretty sure this milk run gets bumped by all the freight trains.
Plus this train doesn't go straight to Miami, it goes across the state to Tampa first.

schedule says should have been in Jacksonville 3 hours ago, yet other areas train says on time.
I don't think so.

Got to 19 with an inch of snow and ice. Looking for another inch or so tonight maybe.

My ear kept bleeding so I called the doctor and they said to come right in. So I got there and hurried across the parking lot in the rain. As luck would have it a parking curb jumped in front of me and down I went!
Badly bruised ribs and skin off my arm and couple of minor scrapes. But it only hurts when I laugh, sneeze, cough, move or breathe. Slept in my recliner last night. I’m very sore but not as bad as I expected with the pain level last night. Makes feel like an old man!
