Good Morning. 44F @ 4:30AM. Overcast. High near 50F. Winds light and variable.
We may get a shower or two overnight tonight, and another Thursday. Starting Sunday, though, there's rain in the forecast every day through Wednesday. And cooler, more wintry temperatures. It's about time!
FWIW, Drew, I found
this 7.2V battery for "select Ariens EFI snowblowers". Not sure it's the one you need or not, but at least one reviewer is also complaining that it seems to be unavailable. I also found that the Ariens website has parts diagrams for their snowblowers.
This page has a form where you can insert the serial number from your blower and it'll bring up the parts diagrams for it. Then you can search for battery, and it should bring up a diagram for the battery. And that might give you a clue as to where it's located. Happy hunting. Same on the cars. They're a little big to fit under your Christmas tree, though...

Could'a used a shop vac or a piece of duct tape to snag that apple...
The Holidaze seem to bring out the worst in family drama. Hope everyone makes it through to the new year without too much of it. I have a friend who's sister has advanced pancreatic cancer, and she's not doing well. The family is divided on the treatment choices being made, which is hard on my friend. Seems like the winter weather makes such situations even worse, and not just for the patients, either.
Very colorful flags, Gary. I hope you're better at disassembling pallets than I've been. I end up breaking or splitting most of the boards before they come off. Hope you can get going again on the tractor project once the new year gets started.
Wrote a big check for property taxes yesterday, and it was only the first of two installments. Still, I'm lucky I have a property on which I have to pay taxes. I could be living out of a car or trailer like so many other fire victims are still doing.
I listened to my only PFM album yesterday, Paul, "The World Became The World". Definitely a progressive sound with synthesizers, electric guitars, etc., but the operatic singing was pretty odd. I was kinda glad the album was over after only four very long tracks. Definitely an ear worm free experience.
Got a good start on the bag brackets yesterday. Lots of cutting/welding/fitting, and even some redoing. Maybe half way done on one side. Then I'll need to make a mirror image of it for the other side, but it should be easier the second time around. Since the sun was out, the inverters were going full blast and helping take the chill off the garage. I might have to fire up the propane header on this cloudy day.
Hope everyone's week gets off to a great start!
