Check, we are both having a glass of wine before we go and she will have one more glass there, no bottles of that wine for us. My friend is a school teacher, she will likely order sparingly.
I'm more concerned about finding a place to park the truck on Main Street.

Did you get the 16 oz. steak?

66°F and .01 inches rain.

Glad to have my Ridgeline back to normal. Can’t say I miss seeing the Emission System error message.

Dealership has a shuttle service. Had them drop us at restaurant for lunch. When on way back, dealership called that truck was ready for pu. Perfect.

I did get some progress in Caretaker studio. Went with the 1/8 inch for toe kick. Rationale: just a cosmetic cover and I happened to have readily available, saving my 1/2 ply for better things.

HD disappointing. Want to go with Over the range microwave unit, but no economy models in stock. Probably order one during Veteran Day sale but with 6-8 week delivery. Guess I can work around that.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

The craft fair is very crowded. We bought a bunch of stocking stuffers.
Kyle, there were more people at the Arts and Craft Fair than were at the community garage sale.
A lady there that had a mask on remarked to my wife that she was surprised that more people were not wearing mask, the county is still in the red zone. Only about 5%-10% had mask. We did not.

One item that really works well without electricity but by design only is this wooden amplifier for smart phones. It doubles the volume and it’s built by our neighborhood wood shop. (Phone not included of course.)

Nice day yesterday. I was working/playing at the farm. The power company cut down some trees at the back of the property along the right of way. What they do is climb the tree and drop it in pieces. You end up with with a pile of mixed branches and logs. I was pulling out the logs so the neighbor who sells firewood could get to them without breaking a leg. Amazing what my little 18 hp Yanmar will do. My legs were a little sore from climbing on and off the tractor to hook up the chain. Looks like one big locust and three cherries. They have just about cut all the trees along there. Jacket and hat weather. Those 75 degree days a couple of weeks ago were sure nice. This afternoon I am going to bag up some leaves with the mower. Still a lot of leaves up in the trees but they will be down soon. We are covering the lettuce at night in the garden to keep it going for a few more weeks .

I was telling my wife about the tractor boys who have grapple tractors but I don't suppose Santa will take the hint.:ROFLMAO:

I wonder how much of these supply shortage/price increases are just an excuse to raise prices.

I'm sure there's some price gouging going on, but there's a lot more than that to it. Just my opinion, but when you can't get merchandise off the boats in port, that restricts supply and unless demand goes down proportionally, price goes up. When the price of oil goes up because of reduced supply and continuing, if not increasing, demand, that increase is passed along in terms of higher shipping costs, higher transportation costs, and higher material costs. Those price increases spiral into more price increases in the industries dependent on transportation related distribution. When the supply of integrated circuits drops because manufacturers make more money making more sophisticated chips, it creates shortages in the automotive and electronics industries, and with no decrease in demand, prices go up. There's also the upward price pressure created by inflation, where a dollar loses purchasing power. I won't go into the causes of inflation, but you can see them in the news headlines every day. To me, it's looking more and more like the '70s, and that's a time I don't remember very fondly.

Now that booster shots are available for all three of the Covid19 vaccines, new data shows that mixing brands can produce better results. Here's a recent MedCram video summarizing the research.

Don,
I've started going to Walmart and ALWAYS have a mask with me, just in case someone objects to me not wearing one, but I usually do not put it on, and I notice a lot of other customers also not wearing masks, although almost all, not quite but almost, all of the employees are wearing masks.

Have I mentioned in the past, more than 15 or 20 times, that I hate live oak trees. I have a lot of tiny acorns to rake up each year, and I do believe that this year might be a new record for number and weight. This is the third time, and I hope the last for this year, that I've raked up and bagged acorns for the garbage men. Last week I put out 2 bags of them that were so heavy I was afraid my garbage men might not take them. Today I put out 3 bags and hopefully each one is a tiny bit lighter than the ones I put out last week.

That does look better than the SOLO cup I use to use before we got Bluetooth speakers for ours.

I always wear a mask, and I don't give a darn what others think. If everyone jumped off a cliff, would you follow?

I share your disdain for live oaks, Bird. They're ugly and mishapen trees, wrapping around themselves to the point that the branches are sometimes impossible to separate without a chainsaw. I've never seen one with a trunk straight enough to do much with, even make decent fire wood. If you do manage to get it into a stove, the smoke stinks. To top it all off, yesterday I found a mouse nest in the van, with a half dozen acorns in it. Now I'm wondering where the mouse is getting in.

Bad news guys. I ran into my neighbor who is a Caddy dealer. He said he has 1 new car on the lot and 15 used cars. Might not be a shiny new caddy under the Christmas tree this year. He also said if he could get a Escalade he could probably sell it for 20 over MSRP. Yikes.

Bird, Too bad you can't bag them up and sell them as Texas Gold Gourmet Squirrel food.:ROFLMAO:

Leo at Samson Marine on Youtube went down to Georgia to get live oak lumber to make boat frames and shipped them out to Washington where the boat is. Apparently they don't rot. Wonder if it is a different tree.

Good breakfast with 2.5 other couples. Sat around and chatted a good while.

Stopped by church building and updated the computer and some other stuff. And put the picnic tables away in the storage barn.

Drained and blew out the camper water lines, but don’t have any RV antifreeze for the traps.
Tried troubleshooting the non working outdoor lights, but no luck yet. They are fed from same circuit as main indoor lights which work. 2 switches in panel, main indoor and outdoor with common hot. Switch works. 2 hot wires, one for each light comes off the switch. Pulled light off under camper, it has good ground but couldn’t trace back the hot wire by myself. I need some jumpers and clips. The other light is caulked around on the side by the door, so didn’t pull it. Only way to test hot wire is in the light socket.

Too tired to continue, wife wants me to grill burgers for supper.
