Just wow on the machine! What a piece of art. Wow.
.....
Then it was down to the Zen House, a motorcycle shop known for doing odd restorations. This time around they were unveiling something called a Miller Balsomic, a little Italian two stroke of which only three exist. Of course it was red.

Morning all, will the sun come out today?
Had a great, but tiring weekend. Movie/Halloween party went well, rain held off until party pretty much done.
Kid off to friends yesterday and visits to our friends for a bit to see what kids are doing for trick or treats, since we don't have any stop by but the neighbors kid.

Wind knocked over some more trees, never the ones I want to fall though.

Met new neighbor who is building house in field behind me. He mapped out whole house layout and gave me a tour. That was kinda fun.
No more hunter on that field, so that problem of finding deer carcass and people with flashlights running through our yards at 2am is solved. Hunter towards front of house never gave us these kinds of problems.

Ron - Happy birthday to your son!

Had to clean up wet leaves Saturday for party. What a mess, and today leaves are back, but starting to thin out a bit.

Feel better Buppies.

Drew-hope you get some resolution on the shed.

Stay safe and be well,

We have quite a few AtmosFx setups. One in the living room. One in the garage with a back projector and this one I made to hold three tablets. The pics transform and we have them run in a loop all night.

37°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 50° today. There was no rain in the forecast for the next week or so, but now I see they've slipped in a slight chance for mid-afternoon today.

The boy slept right through both my attempts to drum him out of bed and his mother and girlfriend watching a movie at full volume. He did eventually get up, eat some pizza for dinner, and pack up their stuff and go back to her place, where he's been staying for the last couple of months.

Nice pictures today, gents.

44 early, 62 later, sunny and breezy.
Had a busy Sunday, started with church and ended with a cup of yogurt in front of the TV. I had a visit from my daughter and grandson, played with the golf cart and generally farted around most of the day.

Today is a bit of a bump in the road, four years ago today I lost my wife of 42 years. I’m very happy in my current life, but I will always miss her.

Yesterday may have been our last day of summer temperature and weather wise. We should have two or three killing Frost by the end of this week but not freezing just yet. We have a window AC unit that I plan to get out of the window tomorrow.

I think two weeks ago my long covid that started the first of January is finally let loose of me. Checked out the septic tank last week and got some rough mowing done before winter.

Started the 1948 Model B Allis Chalmers yesterday and plan to drive and reposition it today.

With the mental fog clearing crunching retirement resources and needs. Found the article below and shared it with the kids.

Gale, glad you are feeling better.

Ron, when I looked you could get LiOn upgrade for $2500 more. I could easily get 7 years out of
my golf cart batteries after I started using a 48V smart charger on them. I wonder how many more years the more expensive battery
would give you? $2500 equals perhaps three new sets of conventional batteries, seems like a long time for ROI.
Is there an eco reason other than maybe a ten year battery instead of 7?

64°F and no rain.

Looks like my caretaker search will continue. Schedule/expectations not matching up.

Need to run the push mower through dogs area this morning.
Will start rehabbing the kitchen cabinets today.
2 of the bases will be a bit more tedious.

Zoom Happy Hour this afternoon

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Drew, assuming you paid for shed with a CC you might get them involved.

Ron, your gorgeous pic could almost make me miss NE. Almost.

Drew, I may have missed it, but what was the outcome of the shed / Rubbermaid? Did you have to return it?

I'm still waiting for Rubbermaid to respond. If I don't hear from them tomorrow, I'm going back to Home Depot and asking for a full
refund. There is no way to return it; it was many pieces shrink wrapped together on a broken pallet. Can't put that back together again.

My thoughts on shed. Rubbermaid had nothing to do with missing part. HD had it laying in a warehouse somewhere. Someone put a sticker on it with shed barcode. Then shipped it to you. That may be why Rubbermaid is not responding. But I have been wrong before.

4 years, how time flies. Extra thoughts and prayers, Randy.

Good article, Gale

"Wealth consists not in having great possessions," the Stoic philosopher Epictetus once said, "but in having few wants." Sounds wise. 🤙🤙🤙

Ron, thank you. This was a special order from Home Depot and I thought they told me it came from Rubbermaid direct, but maybe from another warehouse.
Tomorrow I call Home Depot CS, and then likely contest the Visa charge before too much time lapses.

needed excuse to be outside, washed the truck, not much else to do, though I did remember to update EZPass for the truck. DEDOT is just awful with my PA ezpass, have
had more threatening dunning letters from them, and I dish it back. They go away, after I jump through hoops. Nice that I can go out PA using it headed South and then back up the Delmarva peninsula which takes it also.

Drew any chance you could fabricate the missing shed part or have someone make it for you?

Chris

Chris, I wish. One panel has notch on upper right, other has notch on upper left with a custom connector made for alleged tool free assembly.
It's very proprietary. I really hope they will send me the right parts because otherwise this is a huge addition to some landfill where it won't break down for a very long time.

The lithium batteries are for range so I don't have to get a gasoline cart. This cart with a lithium battery provides a 50 mile range. I can go to the garden, to the trails, to the pool, Walgreens and play cards all in one day without the battery dying.

The lithium batteries last 7X more cycles the the lead acid batteries, 3,500 cycles instead of 500 cycles and no maintenance.

Dennis, how do you like that flat top vs regular grill?

Love this griddle for camping. We don’t have to use skillet anymore. Also great for pancakes. I carry my old small Coleman propane grill in the camper also.

I also carry a bag of charcoal and my chimney to light it, in case I want to use the Dutch oven.
I helped start my fire Saturday night by putting burning charcoal on it
