Yep!!!
With the whole family, actually...
She's still a puppy, with all the puppy orneriness, but she is picking up some "commands" (she takes them as suggestions). Biggest problem is she loves to chew and doesn't know what she can, and can't chew...that'll work out soon enough. She also loves sleeping on the sofa or bed with my wife or I...
Oh yeah...she still thinks my shoes are her chew toys...
Kind of a rough beginning, but it's working out OK...

One other bit of info I’d really be interested in is the number of people who got the Regeneron treatments and then were hospitalized or not.
Around here you have to be hospitalized to get the Regeneron cocktail.
Many of the ones hospitalized have gotten it.
But Regeneron is some what local to here I actually worked for them for 13 years.

Does anyone have accurate stats on how many Vaxxed people have wound up in the hospital to be treated for COVID vs non-vaxxed?
According to my doctor about 2 weeks ago, in their area 94% hospitalized were unvaccinated. The remaining 6% he said had major underlying conditions.

I personally know of 2 friends that took Regeneron and were better in a week. OTOH for unvaxxed, I have 1 friend still in hospital for about a month now, and more friends that are suffering from home. They are saying they are very weak, and they are down for 3-4 weeks.

Went to A&M game yesterday. Got there very early to watch the corp band "Step off". They were awesome to watch. Military precision.

It was HOT! But late in the game, we actually got rained on. It felt so good, and I was glad to stay out in it.

I spent a lot of time Friday working on the old Impala, which had developed a front end wobble what seemed like "over night". I believe it is either the older tires, or possibly the CV axles. Hate to put new tires on it, especially if they are not the problem....older car....should have sold it long ago but figured daughter might drive it. She doesn't like it. Decisions, decisions.

Still haven't gotten the motivation to work on Gator. Planning to remove carb again, and take to work to accurately measure the supplied jets in the cheapie carb rebuild kit, comparing them to the factory jets. Neither are marked. Will use small gage pins. Also will push the needle's seat back into it's pocket all the way.

My wifey's birthday is tomorrow. She's really a beautiful woman. I love her to bits.

68°F and .38 inches rain

Had hoped for a mixed day. A bit of football with some activity in the caretaker unit. A quick look at schedule and the games I was most interested aren’t being broadcast here.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Wow. I have not heard that before - must be hospitalized to get Regeneron.

Here they have set up Regeneron treatment centers. All they do is take referrals from Docs and do the infusions. Takes about 2 hours in and out. They want to get people “infused” within 10 days of first symptom. They say the whole idea is to keep them out of a hospital.

On the ones suffering it out at home, we’re they ever offered a referral for Regeneron? Did they try any remedy other than “tough it out”? I’m getting the impression that a lot of people are in that boat. A friend and his wife were basically told to take Tylenol for pain and tough it out. But they were given a Vax after they got COVID as treatment. He said the side effects of the Vax were bad. My thinking is that these are the folks who are winding up in hospitals.

80F and sunny @ 12:00, headed up to a high of 83F.

Hear birds chirping away outside.

Big orange cat has come and gotten on the desk's pull-out shelf and joined me and is happily purring away.

Winds are low and spraying is on the menu for today.

If I get that finished not sure what else I'll get into. Certainly no shortage of stuff to do.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe Sunday ... (y)
