68F and partly cloudy @ 12:00, heading up to a high of 71F. Winds out of the Northwest @ 10 to 20 mph will make it seem very cool.
Refilled hopper, two sunflower tube, and two suet feeders yesterday, including the one outside the kitchen window.
Also watered the irises and other potted plants.
The Woman got called in today (...
again ... she went in yesterday as well ...

)
Agenda for today:
Continue moving dirt down to barn for pad, approach, and creek crossing and compact it.
The idea is to create a raised path over to the creek crossing that will serve to channel any run off from the front of the barn into the pipes at the creek crossing. It being raised with respect to the surrounding area should make it "wet-drained" and hopefully keep it from turning into a total muddy mess. The area does not get much - if any - sun. May need to remove some trees eventually, to help with keeping it dry ... although that's a trade off - with the trees sucking the moisture out of the ground.
There's another pallet of retaining wall block in the barn that I need to move around to the back so I can work/maneuver around inside.
May also do some more work on rock wall removal, now that I have some place to pile them with the enlarged pad.
USPS wildflower seeds should be here on Friday.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day ...
