Good evening! 52 now! Was 58 earlier with sun, but got cloudy and drizzled several times today.

Been a busy weekend. Mowed yesterday, first time we did the whole property this year. Wife cut up som smaller trees that are down while I unloaded the free trailer of wood and stacked it. We are in really good shape on wood already.

Charged the battery on the spare mower, it started easy after sitting dormant all winter. No doubt we will need it this summer.

Did the grocery, bank, Rite Aid, and Lowe‘s run this morning. Got home, installed new burners in the grill, ran the small tiller in the garden and got some stuff planted finally. Running a bit late. Worked on one of the Bultaco‘s for a bit. After dinner, tried out the Ruger I traded for last winter. Good shooter, but need to watch how I hold it, the slide was tough on the knuckle of the LH thumb...ouch.

thoughts for everyone who needs them.

everyone stay safe out there

I finally got my PICC line in about 8:30, only seven hours late. But that gets me ready for home care so I guess it’s worth it.

I didn’t do much today, walked the halls, sat in the sun watching the world go by. I hope to be in my bed tomorrow night.

Good morning, a little cool this morning, 33°F and the high will be 55. Wind calm. Periods of rain.

If it does in fact rain, then I will change oil in mowers and tractor. If it doesn't rain, then will clean out the township culvert.

Have a safe day all

Good morning, high pressure looks to be staying for another week, not a drop of rain in sight.

As the lambs start to wander more on their own I occasionally discover one that squeezes through a a small gap under the fence then ends up stuck in a hedgerow, separated from mom. This morning it was the other way around, a ewe had got over the fence and the lamb was left on it's own in the field and neither could find a way to get back together. Both were berating me at full volume to DO SOMETHING !

Roy, those are neat additional weight boxes on that agri-fab video. You can tell how much a cheapskate I am as at first I was thinking why not use just a single wooden mould instead of using yet more plywood around each concrete block. I am guessing they help prevent the paint from being scratched.

good morning all.
I agree on the weight boxes, very cool design and sure beats the typical cinder blocks, and heavier too.

cloudy spring day 42 out now going up to high 60's in clouds. Maybe a shower from the small system going through South of here.

Bill, you and I are doing the same thing today, I'm going to change the oil in my portable gen and my snowblower. My oil sucker came in and it looks
pretty interesting. Can't wait to hook it up to air compressor and see how it works "hands free".

Toppop, hope you had a good night and they throw you out this morning. Feel better.

great lamb pic Eric.

Yeah, those were some pretty fancy weights! I believe the guy who posted the video is a landscaper by trade...probably wants something to look professional to his clients...
Me...I just use suitcase weights...42 lbs each. I use bungee cords to prevent them sliding around

Raining and 50...only had a nickel's worth in the rain gauge so far, but now coming down hard. 64 and sun late today.

Got some grapple time yesterday...pulled up some old fence posts, removed and folded the old rusted barbed wire and carried the posts away. Helped my wife with her flower bed. Watched a little baseball. We both had some leg cramps Saturday night, so grilled some dogs as a mustard delivery method...lots of cole slaw and beans to go along.

Good Morning
40 with a high of 64 today a mix of sun and clouds with chance of a passing shower.

Got a lot of cleaning up done yesterday, also finished the woodwork on the last committed speaker. Picked some sod at local sod farm, they always leave a pallet out with a honor system cashbox. It’s pretty handy when you just need a small amount. Helped mechanical contractor buddy for a little while on a nearby job.

Looks like a quick trip to Washington, PA to drop a plane off for maintenance might be in store today unless someone else steps up. Otherwise it will be a day in the shop. Tonight we have our first in person Odd Fellows lodge meeting in over a year. It will be out side the lodge though.

Good Morning!!!! 63F @ 4:15AM. Plenty of sunshine. High 88F. Winds light and variable.
Yesterday's high here was 86F, today's forecast is for 88F. Yet the WU forecasters say "Today's high will be cooler than yesterday's." 👀 There's rain in the 10-day for next weekend; over an inch of it. I'll believe it when I see it. Be nice to get the campfire wood moved to its new location and tarped over, though.

Hope you get sprung from hospital/jail OK today, Randy.

I have used a pneumatic brake bleeder to suck oil before, Drew, but the oil made the plastic swell and not seal so well. Anyway, all that hissing got me to wearing ear muffs when I use it. What brand of sucker did you end up with?

Yesterday's plans went more than a little sideways. The ol' back was still sore from the day before, and the thought of stacking firewood didn't have much appeal. At the same time, the reverse osmosis water setup in the kitchen was on the fritz, as was the new gate opener, and fiddling won out over stacking. Found a new pressure tank on Amazon, and after watching the accompanying video decided to follow their instructions for repressurizing the one I already have. Seems to be working.🤞

Gave up on using a Mighty Mule exit sensor with the new gate controller because the sensor seems to send a second signal to open the gate after the timer closes it. That's unfortunate because the sensor sold by the controller's manufacturer costs $175. Guess I need to make another trip to the money tree. Also found a broken wire going to the solar panel, which was cheaper to fix than replacing the panel. Win some, lose some.

Finished the day out by moving the last two pallets into the shipping container. Thought I'd stack them before putting them into the container, but the top pallet kept catching on the one next to it. It seems the gravel ramp leading into the container isn't quite level, causing a sideways lean. One at a time worked fine though. But with all that weight in the container, the doors don't want to seal. That's a job for another day.

At some point today I need to pick up the flatbed trailer from a neighbor so I can bring home more steel pallets from the Kubota dealer tomorrow while I'm in town for my second flu shot. Should be "fun" finding a parking spot with that thing in tow, so I might be doing some hiking.

The pile of campfire wood sits in a nice shady spot that I'd rather use for bucking, so today I think I'll grade out a better place and put down some gravel for it. Tried the grapple on the odd shaped pieces yesterday, and it was hit and miss on how many it would pick up. Even so, it would still be easier making more trips sitting on the tractor than bending over and loading it in the side-by-side or FEL bucket.

Hope everyone's week gets off to a smooth start.

I try not to eat too many hot dogs and buy unprocessed ones when I do, but the provenance of the ingredients always makes me wonder...
But as Wingsprd said, the perfect mustard delivery device. Let's face it you don't put mustard on toast or cake.
RS would certainly not use mustard on one of his sheet cakes, so how do you eat the stuff? Many of us can't spoon it in straight.
I get cramps too...and try to eat more mustard and spicier foods
without aggravating my acid reflux. Lots of different kinds of mustards too so you can experiment. But I read here somewhere I think that the cramp fighting capacity
of plain yellow mustard was the same as dijon or earthy rough ground mustards. I prefer it ground up well enough the bits of mustard don't get stuck between your teeth.

those fake hot dogs sure do taste awful though. Chicken dogs, rubbery mixture of UMO's. Is a healthy hot dog an oxymoron? maybe they make vegan dogs?

they always leave a pallet out with a honor system cashbox
Still nice to see in Mennonite country where faith in one's neighbors is just a given.
Closer in to the city the druggies would be hitting the cash box...

53 degrees out, time to get a move on.
