75 now with thunderstorms headed our way, cool and windy on Monday.

Busy day with church service early, it’s my daughter’s birthday and one sister in law and brother in law’s is tomorrow. So visited everybody which entailed a trip to Smyrna DE to BIL’s house. Good visits and good food.
My baby girl is 41! I don’t know how that could be since I’m only 45 or so.

I got my new vice mounted yesterday. And got the blades off the MMM deck so I can sharpen them. That 120v impact is the stuff, zinged those 1 1/16” nuts off like nothing to it. It works as well as my Snap On pneumatic impact.

I hope you all had a good day.

Clear most of the day, light wind but got gusty in afternoon, and high temp was 71F. Chapel started the day, made wife's breakfast, scrambled eggs, then puttered on computer, then napped. Now add a nice headache to the Shot

Thanks Chris wife still has no reaction ours was Pfizer
Sorry about your headache, mine was on the sides of my cabeza, just above the ears....and my cough made it feel like my head was going to pop.

And all these years, I thought you were 46....Happy b'day to your daughter.

My daughter practiced for playing in church yesterday, and this morning prior to church. She played bass on 2 songs, and guitar on 2 songs.

TxDon, hope the rash clears up.

Like RNG said, anything high compression needs premium for max performance. I like the Mazda Skyactive technology. It burns gas like a diesel, with compression. They've had to do countless hours of experimentation to fix problems others couldn't figure out.

Dftodd, sorry about your neighbor passing, and the dog tragedy. That must've been 1 brave yorkie. What do they weigh...about 2 lbs?

Eric, my kids used to watch Peppa Pig.....now I'll never flip channels past it without thinking about pulled pork. My daughter used to watch an English cartoon, Charlie and Lola. I told her to watch and practice on her English accent. Her's can be quite good when she practices.

Rich, we have line of sight internet, and it has gone off at least 5 times just today.

Prayers for our team and country....and for Mostly's wifey. Mostly, I will tell you that the anxiety involved, can be bad too.

37F and the wind is still howling on and off @ 22:30. Headed down for an overnight low of 31F.

Some kitchen clean up done, breadboxes incorporated into the scheme of things.

All fish and cats fed. Only got four boxes of white worms done though. New dry cat food (which is lamb-based, not chicken) seems to be a hit with everyone ... (y)

Drew about 20 gallons of water, topped off some of the tanks, cleaned several pre-filters, installed one on the 20G Long the Super Reds are in.

Started new Amazon order, need to finish that up tonight, along with Menard's order.

Some other research done.

Still no email reply from health department. Rechecked the appointment confirmation email and the appointment is actually for this coming Wednesday (not Monday) Clicked on the link in that email to reschedule or cancel and the appointment shows as "Open" ... whatever that means. There was an option to cancel it, so I guess it's still valid.

Heated up The Woman's lasagna tonight and we had that for dinner again, was good. Then watched a movie on Amazon Prime.

Pic of the new Super Reds I got a couple weeks ago:

Hope everyone had a great day ... (y)

Covid update: Cooke, Montague, Grayson 11039, unchanged, local not updated.

(y)

Keep an eye out for the next 2 - 3 weeks: while the Texas "confirmed" cases are still going down, the Texas "unconfirmed, probable" Covid cases are headed up unfortunately.

RS had Moderna, no reaction to first, felt fever symptoms the next day, and low energy following day.

Thanks, good to know ... that I could handle ... (y)

RS you need to read manual on toaster?

Heheheh ... well, they went to the trouble to print one ... I figured it was the least I could do.

just what else does it do?

Not totally sure - but it does have dedicated buttons for Cancel, Reheat, Defrost, and Bagel - plus your normal dial for how brown you want your toast.

Hope your wife is doing ok.

38 right now...calling for snow showers and a high about 40 today...

/ Good morning!!!! #130,651
It was forecast that our area was going to have a wind storm. We did get wind in the past twelve hours but it only got to 26mph here. I can easily handle that. Currently 32F.

/ Good morning!!!! #130,652
19°F and going to 37. Wind NW 11 mph gusting to 20. Sunny.

We got about 2-3" of snow last night. That wont stay long.

I will bury the cat this morning. She died in November and I boxed her and put her into the deep freezer. It is dedicated to dead animals only and stays unplugged when there are none.

Have a safe day all

Good morning folks

37 now highs in the mid to upper 40’s and cloudy with some sun this afternoon. Winds WNW 20 to 30 mph could see gusts around 50 mph today. We had a steady rain yesterday into the evening and got around 0.75 inches

Yesterday was a do nothing day just watched a couple of movies and played with the dog. She is a hoot, nonstop bundle of energy. Certainly keeps the wife and I busy.

The garden is just starting to wake up the daffodils are about 2” tall. I see a lot of damage to some of the shrubs and Japanese maples. Between last year’s drought, this winters lack of snow cover and rabbit damage things look a bit beat up. Oh well, time will tell.

Not much planned for today either just take it as it comes.

Stay safe and healthy
Enjoy your day everyone

Good morning all. 47 going up to 55 today in nice sunny Spring day, but probably very windy.

I'm off early to get an mri on my shoulder, then pick up some garden supplies at Lowes, and then home again.

Buppies, hope you and your wife feel better quickly.

Mostly, cool cattle. I hope they get out of that enclosure once in a while.

/ Good morning!!!! #130,656
43 and clear, going to 62 and sun.

DFtodd, sorry about your dog encounter.

Mostly, I drafted Yadier as catcher on both of my teams. I had him last year. Flaherty and Edman, too. For some reason, I always go for a good number of Cards. I've seen most of those gas signs, but some are quite unusual.

Buppies, sorry you and your wife are having side effects.

Kyle, sounds like your daughter is becoming quite the musician.

...and hope yours had a great birthday, Toppop.

Quite windy and stormy yesterday, so roasted coffee rather than spending too much time outside. Need to make up for it by towing the splitter back into the woods and working on the big rounds...plus still need to buck the other big oak.

Although the grass and flowers are into full springtime, we still have flocks of winter birds here. I think they know more cold is on the way.

/ Good morning!!!! #130,657
Buppies.
Hope the feels much better today.

L4N.
Doing the right thing ...thank you.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today...Outside puttering cancel because of weather, town for for critter food, might watch some Nascar dirt racing this afternoon...putter.

Enjoy the day all.

/ Good morning!!!! #130,659
Most of our blackbird flocks were gone 2-3 weeks ago, I saw the first rabbit of spring yesterday, he will likely be food for a Fox, hawk, cat or some other predator soon. Plenty of doves and Robbins now.
46-58 today but very windy, gusts over 40 last night.

Ellen goes back to the office three days a week like she use to for the first time in over a year. I’m going to miss having her home.

I’ve got a couple jobs in the garage to keep me busy today. Finished up one chair Friday.

We got the same - looks like winter again out there!

Temp down to 23 this morning, and then a max of 34 or so. Roads will be slick, and wifey has to drive down to Toronto today.

Maple sap buckets are probably frozen, but I think we have enough now for a quart or two of Maple syrup when it is all boiled down. Will keep the SAP frozen for now, until the kid comes up again to help. (This was her idea anyway.)

Time to pour the first cup of coffee - have a great day everyone!
