Drew, When I looked at the 2019 Honda Ridgeline it did not have the bells and whistles that the Ford had at that time. They probably do now. I did like the bed better than The Ranger. I thought the Ranger rode rough, but after having it a month I checked the tire pressure and found out it was 15 psi too high. The right tire pressure helps the ride a lot.

Set up my mailbox monitor. Took it out to mailbox, held it in place and separated the contacts. Emails arrived about 2-3 minutes later. Got 1 of 3 sms messages so far.
Can send to 5 emails and 1 sms.

Now to figure out best way to install. Magnet sensors have double sided tape. I can see them being knocked off with the first oversized package shoved in. Might have to drill holes and bolt them on. The sender unit will go on side of post with longer screws than was provided.

Despite having no mate, she dutifully continues to lay eggs every couple of weeks. I should probably do something about that.

(The two lighter horizontal bars on her upper body are actually closer to white - camera or lighting is imparting a color cast and I'm too lazy to move the images to a machine that has Photoshop on it and color-correct the images ... )

Neolamprologus multifasiatus colony - this is the 20G Long tank I recently set up for them:

There's probably at least eight of them in there ... kinda hard to tell, given that they hide in the shells. Expect they will be spawning shortly ... if they haven't already.

They definitely been doing some serious excavating though.

These are the smallest cichlids in the world: adult males = max 1.5" OAL, adult females = max .75" OAL.

Good evening all. 47F for the start, clear, breezy. Windy clear, and high temp was 74F. Cleaning lady prep to start, then leaf pickup, then bike ride, nap, and more scalping of back yard. Just have inside the fence, will do tomorrow morning. Even with nap, back pockets were dragging.

63 trips around the sun for me today.
Still having issues with our fancy furnace thermostat. Yesterday with temps in the teens the air conditioning kicked on for about 5 minutes. LOL! I don't think so! Furnace tech is coming back out with a factory rep to try and see what's going on. I would rather have a non computerized non internet connected one that works! I'm told we need this one for the air,heat pump and furnace to all run.

Sure glad we have the pellet stove going!

Split and stacked firewood yesterday. Brought some dry wood onto the porch and cranked up the woodstove.

We got a taste of spring last week, but all the winter birds are still here, so they're not fooled.

good morning all. 30 going up to 43, cloudy day, maybe a shower or flurry later.
I'm headed off shortly for hospital to go get a shoulder xray when they open at 7am and hope to be home soon thereafter.
Forecast for later this week is a stretch of mid 60 weather. That should make the flowers pop. My whole driveway is lined in forsythia so
should be yellow soon.

RS, nice fish pics. Is that green algae in the tanks? Do the fish eat it? As the army of plecos descends...

That sounds like a defrost cycle while in heat pump mode. Aux heat or fossil fuel furnace should cycle on during the defrost to temper the cold air though.

Good Morning
It’s 28 with a forecast high of 40 today. Clear this morning, clouding up later with a chance of rain.

Yesterday I ended up going out on a geothermal service call with my friend. Fortunately it was a pretty easy fix
I’ve doomed us all by taking the snow plow and weight box off the tractor. Also stopped by the Kubota dealer and bought two pails of Super UDT2 hydraulic fluid, getting $20 off each of them with a coupon from Kubota. Got the bird deterrent on the Tempest weather station, then relaxed and watched YouTube videos.

Today I’m off to Stuart, FL, after this one, I get the rest of the month off and plan to ramp up my efforts to get vaccinated.

13 now highs near 40 with a mix of sun and clouds today. Winds WSW at 5-10 mph.

Quick trip to the Kubota dealer for filters and grease. Probably drool over the new stuff on the lot.
Fill up the diesel can on the way home. Time to pick up tools and put away in the workshop, I have a bad habit of tossing stuff in 5gal buckets and cardboard boxes instead of back where they belong.

Morning all;
A nice nippy 11F this morning a bit overcast had quite a bit of red sky this morning as the sun was trying to peek through.
Got my summer tires on and the oil and filters changed on my pu this weekend.
Then the fun part I got a DEF message that the DEF was correct so drained it out and replaced it, then the truck started
a count down Service DEF system see dealer, will not start in 200 miles. Did a bunch of running around now it's truck will
not start see dealer service DEF, I have read that 5 cold start and run cycles it should clear it's self we are at 4 now.
I have my start relay jumper made up and ready to go, used it for two starts yesterday, fun fun fun.
I'll be heading south to NC in a couple of hours to my SIL's.

Oh typing this on my new laptop, not as high a performance unit as Drew got, a Levono 17" i5 processor and 256 meg SSD.
