Good evening. Still 51, 2 days in a row of temps above 50.,rained quite a bit today. Creeks are very full. Or should I type that the way
it is pronounced locally....crick. supposed to cool off quite a bit tomorrow. Might use the wood burner for the first time in a week.

Not much snow left. Driveway is clear....yea!

Since it was decent yesterday, got my first ride yesterday on a bike in 2021. Took the Triumph up the road, then did a mixed road/off road ride with the Bultaco. Pretty muddy off road.

thoughts to everyone who needs them. Stay safe out there

Got to spend some productive time with my Unifi network. 3 mast mounted APs get my signal to tractorshed. Initially tested as a good signal, a wireless hop from the wired office AP. Gonna keep a good thought that it’s a good connection, not a one time fluke. Had to quit due to rain. Hopefully tomorrow I can get some evaluation from random property locations.

50 now, that’s the high so far, between rains right now, about 3/4” so far in this round.

Almost 36 hours since shot number two, still only very minor arm soreness, not nearly as much as the first round caused. I hope I’m not jinxing myself.

Let’s hope so still waiting on schedule time to get shot

My son and daughter-in-law in Front Royal got theirs on the 12th I think they said. My son has a congenital heart defect, and both are essential employees with government contractors.
Maybe you won’t have to wait too long, especially with the J&J vaccine being added to the mix.

Drew, if you want a home of your own, I hope you can find one that you love. Home Loan officers love people with zero debt, and some assets.

Rich, a good bike ride is hard to beat, unless you get stuck in waist deep mud.

Temps so warm here, we have the A/C on. I bbq'd about 15 hamburgers yesterday, and also 15 jalapeno poppers. The poppers got wiped out.

Gasoline has gone up about .50 cents/gallon since Jan 20. No thank you.

I worked on the new to me Dell 5040. Bought a small usb netgear wifi adapter (those buggers are pricey $37) and got that going first, so I could access the internet. Got a new 500gb SSD for about $50 at wallyworld, it came with a data transfer usb cable. So I cloned the original drive to the SSB. Much, much faster. I can use the original HD for backup. So I have close to $350 in it. EVERYTHING I installed had some sort of hiccup in the installation software. Nothing seems as seemless as it should be. Plug and Play my azzzz. It has a radeon video card in it, so I can do a little cad/cam if needed. (It's what I do at work).

Years ago, I pretty much stopped buying music. Not a fan of rap, nor much of the dance/bee bop/ voice tone adjuster stuff. I guess I'm stuck in the '60's, 70's, 80's, and some 90's music. I ripped/copied all my CD's to the computer, and now today, put them on a thumbdrive. Something less than 300 Cd's worth.

I'm still watching/reading some audiophile websites about repairing my old amplifier....trying to get the courage to do it. But everytime I read a different thread, someone comes up with a different problem that scares me....like "is that also wrong on mine?"....It's looking like it will take about $300 minimum to get it going, and that's only if the usual stuff that ages is bad....anything else and the price goes up.

We've watched the Bourne series over the last week. Haven't seen them since they came out in 2002-2007. They went overboard IMO on a few of the scenes, but I can only guess they were running low on plot.

A few months back, Drew was talking about a sour cherry pie. I was in the store aisle that had canned fruit, and I saw some cans of such, so I bought 2 cans, and a pre-made from crushed pecans pie shell. Wifey added an oat/flour crumb topping and it was awesome. Thanks Drew. Of course I had probably a half of a pie in one day......

Ken, I hope you and the wife can come to a peaceful accord. Perspective. Put things in perspective. My wife and I gripe about the smallest of things sometimes, you just have to walk another 20 feet and ponder.....is it really worth it?
