Had 19° this morning, weather station said it got into the 40s as I was at work, but 29° now. Everything still ice at the house.
Called home and said turn off pellet stove so I can clean it. Got home it’s still going so won’t get cleaned tonight.

consider getting a recumbent bike. I do mine almost every morning while I read GM.

I looked at recumbent exercise bikes again, now $100 more than last time I shopped for one. So I’m using the recumbent lazy boy.

Tonight was date night. We had a good one, celebrating the outcome of the doctors appointment.

Good evening all. 56F for the start overcast windy. Windy most of the day, sky cleared off and hi temp was 58F. Low temp tonight at midnight, 38F. Frontal passage about 8AM. Checked boat batteries, charged trolling batteries, start battery showed full charge. Changed chain on chainsaw, old one too loose and no more adjustment. Ran it about 15 minutes sharpen job working and saw ran well. Wood pile smaller now. Need to fill wood wagon before cold snap next week. Had a scare this afternoon wife asked to go to e-room, with chest pains, preliminary diagnosis afib not heart attack, she doing ok now !
Covid update: Cooke 2869 confirmed cases, 115 active cases, Montague 1619 confirmed cases, 46 active cases, Grayson 10270 confirmed cases, 345 active cases, local 12 active cases.
Doug will be that way here soon enough.

I'm getting my second Moderna .. as scheduled .. next Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Texas DSHS site in Columbus. Patricia gets her second Pfizer next Thursday .. as scheduled .. at 3 p.m. at the Ft. Bend County Fairgrounds.

Colorado and Ft. Bend Counties are doing this .. very well.

Good morning, the temperature is 29°F and going up to 32. Wind ESE 19 mph. Snow squall watch in effect. Ought to be good for at least 2".

Today is going to be the warmest day for a week. I have always said that it has to get warm to snow. When we were in the single digits temperature wise it didn't snow. Now it has warmed up and a snow squall watch. During the squalls we can expect winds from the SW and gusting to 35 mph.

The kittens get their first shots next Tuesday and then castrated at the beginning of March.

An energy conservation day for sure.

Frist cup of coffee is cooling. 24° with cloudy skies and a brisk south wind. Heading to 21° with some afternoon flurries. Got about 4" of snow yesterday evening. Going to wait and see what winds are going to do with snow before getting tractor out to plow. Setting up of new computer is going well. Most of my data has move without problems. Got my mail programs working with folders for most accounts setup. Need to wait for new monitor, keyboard and mouse to arrive tomorrow. No plans for today.

Buckeye, prayers for brother. My recumbent bike has been setting for several months now without use. I like using it. But because of a medical condition it becomes very uncomfortable to use. Not a pain problem.

Don, I get my second shot Wednesday. Oakland county is doing fairly good getting the vaccine out. Next county south of us is having all kinds of problems. Lots of finger pointing.

Popgadget, neat machine for clearing. Falling while talking on phone. And some people try to drive while doing that.

LS, having conflicts with Dr care seems to be a ongoing thing. I am off BP meds. But Dr. wants me to take a med that will require me to go back on it. :confused3: At this time not going to happen.

RNG, no plumbing problems here lately. I keep a spare kit on the self someplace here. :confused2:

I'm off to local hospital this morning to get my first vaccine shot, then home to work on tax paperwork and filing.

39 outside this AM. Heading to mid 50's today. Looks like another great day on tap. Warm enough to do my mid-winter equipment check.

Wrote the check for the surveyor yesterday on the drain field project. No comment.
No luck on the truck registration whereabouts. No comment.
No luck with Verizon on switching over LTE plans, they say they don't have coverage in my area for that plan. Funny how I have service through a reseller. No comment.
Hot water heater seems to be flaking out. Lower than usual pressure. Guess I will drain it today and give it a flush.
May go collect some firewood for next weeks winter return.

Looking4newI gave up fishing in winter. It took too long to cut a hole in the ice to put the boat in and trolling was out of the question.

Also gave up ice fishing many many years for there never ever enough ice to convince me....they say when ice makes snapping popping sound it's making maybe so but I was making fast tracks to shore.
