Good Morn'n,

Taking the Wife for another Covid Test, she is headed for eye lens-replacement surgery on Fri. this week.
She has one eye done, the results so far are looking great, hope eye two goes the same way.
She deserves a break, so when done she shouldn't need any glasses, not too shabby.

Covid Test are only given at the location we have been directed by the Surgical Center and earlier AM, between 7 and 9.

After that I'm think'n I need to put the LPGS on and run the driveway (1/4 mile), rains have moved material around; I'm think'n we need more stone. That is one of the problems for me when talking road repair, deciding what material to use on a decent slope; when the rain hit is is sometimes a deluge.
Any thoughts on materials ?

Anyone have any idea about fix'in a Sciatic Nerve that kick'n up ! My right side gives me trouble once in a while.

Everyone have a great day, take your time, stay safe, God Bless All !

Scrambler, do you have a roller or something to pack the gravel down with?
Hope your wife does fine.

I grew up with a long gravel driveway that always needed more gravel. Where did all those loads
of gravel go? My Father told us it kept going down all the way to China and some Chinaman might be enjoying
our gravel. We wondered what would come back the other way.

May 1, thanks Ken

If you find something that truly works for sciatica, please let me know. I’ve been fighting it since 2013.

Good morning to all! Low of 25, only up to 34 for the high. Snow did arrive overnight, but instead of the 1-3" forecasted, we got at least 6"... more like 7".

Went out first thing at daybreak and made paths for my canine family members ..... then swept the path out to the shop. Sun is out now, so hopefully it will melt the rest down to just a couple of inches.

Just a little shop time yesterday, joined a few pieces, then called it quits.... today may be a bust out there, need to do some errands first off, which are delayed due to the snow.....

Rng, interesting link about the ADE.... not sure if the current vaccine is going to have this apply .... I hope you are right and if there are negative affects, they will show before any widespread issues arise....

It will still be a few months before the vaccine is available for "my group".... we fall in one of those just below a cutoff (under 65)... so just wait....

Everyone have a great day!

My sister in law had a paving contractor fix her gravel drive after a hard winter about 3 years ago. They didn't add much material. Just moved it around then rolled it with an asphalt roller. The driveway held up astonishingly well.

37F and cloudy, headed up to 41F with a mix of snow and rain. Looks like all the significant snow/rain has gone around us again ...

Yesterday ended up being mostly a Monday Movie Marathon/Energy Conservation Day ... :D

Did manage to get rear speaker stands taken apart and speaker wires threaded through them though. Now if I can figure some way to keep the cats from chewing on the wires ...

Some fish room maintenance on agenda today, probably along with feeder refills and other stuff on list not previously completed.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day ...

I've had success by wiping hot sauce on cables. Of course, this only works if your cats don't like hot sauce.

67°F and 6.26 inches rain last 24 hours, 9.55 for the storm. Doesn’t look done just taking a break.

Haircut this morning with stop at PO with hope my coax adapters are there. Tracking says delayed.

Otherwise an inside day

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

But my friend found a YouTube put out by an old bat in Iowa that claims different, based on stuff she's read and because she's in the medical field.

Very good YouTube!
I like her package of supplements at 26:30
I also like her suggestion of getting the politics out of it.
The new type of vaccine is protective now but later may be big problem. Experiment with cats on the part 2 had 0 survivors. We may not have that part 2 by this summer, but next year will be the test.

36ーF and cloudy this morning with some light fog, going all the way up to 37ー today. Predicting about an inch or so of snow for tomorrow.

Stationary bikes aren't my favorite either, Mostly_. However, it's a better alternative to riding a real bike here in Winter. As a kid, I'd ride all year. At 54, not so much anymore.

When I was a St. Louis Music, Paul, we were using 18mm Baltic birch for the higher end Ampeg cabinets. All of the PR-series were birch. A PR-810H with metal grills, splatter coat paint, and cast frame Eminence speakers weighs in at 212 lbs. Seriously heavy stuff. I had to inspect the finish on every one we made when they came off the paint line. Those were full-body workout days (I was much skinnier back then). The normal material for Ampeg cabs was OSB with marine grade plywood baffles and stamped frame Eminence speakers (those SVT-810E cabs only weighed 165 lbs). I remember that Baltic birch was starting to get expensive toward the early 2000s, as supply was starting to get tight. Excellent wood for speaker cabinets, though.

I still have an 810e in storage on the second floor of my shop. It is what motivated me to build lighter weight high performance cabs. It will likely be there for my heirs along with a 410HLF, as I have no intention of moving them again, and there was little to no interest when I offered them for sale.

Light drizzle and just above freezing, steps are glazed over.

Same here. Feels cold. No morning walk today.

A joker we know found out if you tell them you are a smoker you can get bumped up a notch on the vaccine list. We would both like to get vaccinated but as covid hermits we are pretty comfortable in our bubble so we can wait.

Chris

Having grown up with a heavy smoking Dad, I’d be in favor of placing them down a category, maybe incentive to quit. Yea, probably not popular and I don’t understand yada, yada, yada. I have a big sign, prominently posted on my property and not hesitant to enforce it. In one of my latter army jobs the designated smoking area was right in front on my office. Couldn’t smoke in the office but OK for half dozen individuals to smoke in hall by the doorway. Rant over
