First cup of coffee has been poured. 16° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 34° with winter mixture of snow, ice and rain in PM. Sassy woke me up about 10 minutes before Midnight. Someone had already started setting off fireworks and gun fire. Took until 2am for her to settle down. I never got back to sleep. So maybe a nap this afternoon. My Turf and Surf dinner did not happen. Surf part had not thawed after being in fridge for 2 days. Turf was good. Had leftovers. Will try again for dinner today. Guess that will be Surf and leftovers.

good morning and happy new year everyone.
We made it...
another wet day and night ahead, 27 out now going to mid 40's.
I was woken up by a few fireworks at midnight, went right back to sleep.
Hope the new year improves for Rich, Jay and others with medical challenges.
No plans here for today.

A few on GM had a rough time in 2020, do hope this is a better year for all.
New years eve around here was a lot quieter than normal, with just a short burst of far away fireworks. The night sky looked good enough to me without any additional coloured lights, moon peaking through wisps of mist and lighting up contrails over our house.
Ron, good in flight pic - or did you put transparent glue on the bird table ?

Good morning, the temperature is 23°F and going to 32. Wind SSE 2 mph. 30% chance of flurries.
Today is an energy conservation day. I might wax the Jeep and tractor, but don't hold your breath.
mostly, I don't track them as close as I should. I might grease it today, but I wont enter it in any spreadsheet. I have a spreadsheet for repairs and oil changes. I have one for each of my equipment including the Jeep and the Dodge.
I do know that I have under 1000 hours on her.

I spent a little time yesterday talking with my wife about the good things that happened in 2020, and the bad things that didn't.
Flatlining at 40F today, with rain coming later. Glad it held off...only got a few brief showers yesterday so got some things done outside.
