Good morning all, 18 going up to 33, looks like about 8" of snow here, 6" down the hill from me?
Dog (Corgi) is loving the snow and diving/jumping through it.
Plow worked fine, will need to get the drift and last few inches moved some time today.

Good morning to all! Low of 12, cold for sure, but dry. Going up to 45 today.

Lots of people getting lots of snow! Just saw on the news that 'Endicott NY' got 40.9 inches in just over 4 hours.... that's a lot of snow! Glad you guys in Bucks didn't get that....

Good shop time yesterday, first coat of finish applied to the toy boxes, and got to make the trinket box. A couple pieces of trim need to get put on, then I can start on the finish for that. I need to run into town and pick up some hardware (handles) for the boxes.... forgot to get them when I went before..... I didn't write it down on the list, so they weren't a thought...

Popgadget , that is a nice speaker box.... I think that would be very expensive to ship to Canada! Do you make the dados with your router or do you run them on the tablesaw?

Ron, nice Jay pics... they look a little chilly... Yesterday, I noticed a buch of finches on the porch railing by the front door..., odd, they normally don't come that close to the house. Apparently they were telling me the feeders were empty! Got them filled and gave them some extra black oil sunflower seeds.

Most garden centers stock the high octane vinegar as well .. it's a "natural" weed killer.

Played in the driveway with the tractor. Probably got 2” more last night, but the freezing rain after the first 7” packed it down and froze hard, so can walk on top. Had to put the cutting edge of the bucket down, which picked up a lot of stone. Got it off enough the sun will do it’s thing.


Combo lock on barn had 1/4” ice on it, I had to get a piece of rebar and bust the ice to unlock.

My drive, neighbor's drive and the cul-de-sac is clear. Township hadn't touched it yet...so, at least we won't have any berms or knock downed mailboxes...
****...a lot of snow!! Still snowing, but it's tapering down.

Neighbor's son will be over to rake the roof and clear the sidewalks (I've got a walk behind snow blower, but he's off work and I can justify some money to help the cause)

65°F and 1.0 inches rain. Another rain forecast.

After nearly a week of throttled internet, finally back up to speed. Apparently I missed the message that setting changes were needed. 3 techs, multiple emails and 2 live phone calls and finally success, back up to speed. Thankfully I had my Mobley as backup. Seems to be increased latency on new connection. Hope that can be fixed.

No plans as I wait out the wx.

A 63-year-old man walking with a snow blower was hit and killed by a plow truck about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday in North Versailles, Pennsylvania,

sad, guess they weren't sharing the road...
With plow raised, sometimes can be vision issues.

Got the driveway knocked out. We Had maybe 8" of snow. Streets just look wet. Pretty day. We got some good melting today. My wife had Dr.s appointment yesterday morning. She said the roads were wicked. Looks like any remaining leaves are down for the winter.

Snow’s about done, time to start clean up. Got about 12 to 14 inches by the looks of it. Some western parts of the state got around 3 ft!

Snow removal is pretty much done. We got about 8”, but it was very heavy from the periods of sleet in between the snow. So it was a layer cake of hard crust, powder and even slush. Pushing that mess uphill with the blade angled was a challenge.

The speaker cab gets a 15” woofer, 5” midrange and a compression driver and waveguide for the highs. All the dados are done on the table saw. Cut outs for speakers and handles are done with a router. The shelf port provides a smaller footprint and allows for the desired box tuning.

15F clear sky finally stop snowing around 2pm Mrs. said we got 18". some area NH got 30".

Been busy day doing snow removal, 4 hours with roof rake,2 hours walk behind snow blower,over an hours working pickup,Kubota didn't get work out but it will tomorrow.
Dinner recliner hug the ole pillow early tonight.
