now...to me these are birdhouses. Is a nest box a fancy name for a birdhouse?

I dunno if it's fancy name, but it's probably somewhat reflective of the purposes of those promoting/publishing/building them, considering the primary purpose of such structures ... and perhaps to a lesser degree: ... a recognition of the habitat destruction and loss that man has wrought.

Think "Big Yellow Taxi" by J. Mitchell ...

Mine will have a hinged trap door floor with a pin in the side for cleaning.

The Woman remarked the other day about having a game cam ... so I started looking.

Checked out a few lower-end Bushnell's and Brownings ... was kinda surprised by the poor reviews on Amazon.

Will scope out the Moultries.

Morning all! 30 here going to 36 and partly sunny.
Wife's eye doctor visit wasn't good. Now besides macular degeneration she also has glaucoma starting in both eyes. They started her on drops and we have an appointment with another specialist.
Not the kind of news she wanted on her birthday.
On a positive note we decided on a vehicle and ordered a new one that should arrive in 6 to 8 weeks! This should give us both a vehicle that will last us quite a while. ( Now that's a good birthday gift)
She is off work this week so I'm not sure what we will end up doing today. To cold for outside stuff. My shoulder and fingers are acting up so might have to take it easy anyway.

Taking wife out tonight and treating to lobster dinner.
