Eric has me thinking, maybe I can use my new light to communicate with aliens!
52 going to 62 today, no more 80s. Ended up with a two day total of 4.94”. Glad there wasn’t more.
I have to go to the insurance office and turn in a form, not sure what else today. Ellen has a bunch of appointments that don’t include me.
Y’all have a good one.

good morning all
47 going up to high 50's today, drying out I hope.
Other than a short trip to Giant for salad material and fruit, don't have much planned for today.

Ron, that's a powerful light and great job of illuminating flag. Whole grain bread for the woodpeckers?...

Buppies, six inches of rain sure makes a mess, hope you dry out today and had no further problems with septic system

today I replace the Honeywell thermostat, expect it to be easy. Going to study dip switches and manual to make sure it is set up properly.

Found a Black Friday special on a 3/4 hp Genie garage door opener for 78 bucks. Couldn't resist that, door is simple 7 footer but will still use a garage door installer
in case things like springs need to be adjusted.

I was born on the 13th of March, and was always kidded it was a Friday. Then I looked it up and found out it was a Monday...;)

43 and still drizzling here. Third day of rain, but total for all three is only 1.3 inches, so no flooding.

Got distracted yesterday by a call from the local restaurant that has adopted me as their maintenance man. (I work for food). They had a Bain Marie that wasn’t getting cold. It’s all good now, and I had a nice chicken parmigiana lunch.

Not much planned today, I’ll continue my clean up effort, there is visible progress now. Son got tied up yesterday, maybe do his barometer project today.

Good morning! 62˚F heading to the mid 70s, cloudy and foggy this morning. I might get to test the dual rain gauges tonight for the first time as we have a 40% chance of rain. Yesterday was neighbor's day as I mowed one neighbors yard and changed the batteries in another neighbor's smoke detectors.

The cinnamon rolls turned out very good. The three day fermenting process to get the 6 month sourdough starter just right seemed to be the ticket. The raisins in the cinnamon rolls taste like little sweet lemons. They make a fine breakfast.

My wife also experimented yesterday making a Turkey roll. We will make a few good revisions and pics next week. She wants to add a layer of her homemade cranberry sauce on top of the stuffing layer for color and flavor. It will look like a big cinnamon roll when cut with swirls of yellow and maroon.

Saw this show last night. Lampasas, TX | The Daytripper

It inspired us to take road trip today to Lampasas TX to Rustler Junction. In that store they had the perfect vase for the hutch. It was filmed recently because of the facemasks so we might be able to snag the Pottery we saw on the TV show if they are not too proud of it. If nothing else a nice 45 minute road trip.

Eric my wife likes it very dark at night also and has put tinted stickems LightDims Black Out Edition - Light Blocking LED Covers/Light Dimming Sheets for Routers, Electronics and Appliances and More. Blocks 1% of Light, in Retail Packaging. - Light Dims Led Light Blocker - Amazon.com The neighborhood already has a all dark rule at night so all the flags come in at sunset.

Good morning, 39 going up to 57 today, Rain - it's spongy out there

Rip-glad to hear no damage and fence line in the clear. I hope the car come out ok

Stay safe and be dry

Good morning, the temp is 32°F and going to a high of 43. Wind SE 8 mph. Showers.

I picked up a solar panel for a battery maintainer for the Jeep. We will see if I can keep a full charge on the Jeep battery over the winter.

IF it is not raining too hard, I may make another dump run today.

Other than the dump run, I think I may declare today an energy conservation day.

Have a safe day all

isn't drying out like I thought, light rain coming down, forgot my hat, sure felt cold on my baldish head...
nice to see paper towels back at Giant, whole aisle was empty last time, now about a dozen packages spread out over big area.
Also nice to see Clorox disinfectant wipes back.
I ordered a case of paper towels on Amazon, wasn't sure if they would show up, now I'm sure they will since I bought some...

Don, does the turkey roll have turkey in it or a substitute? I love the taste of fresh cranberries, or at least the whole ones mixed in with turkey.
The jello stuff is pretty fake in comparison

believe it or not, Christmas trees up outside the supermarket today, 13th of November. They will sure be dried out fire hazards by Christmas...

Homemade substitute. The cranberry sauce is made with real cranberries (from the produce aisle) and apricots.
