Good morning!!!!

We have a pole mounted solar LED light on ours, and I've never been really happy with it either. Before I was married, one of my old neighbors had three can lights mounted at the base of his pole, running on low voltage power. I've been thinking about looking in that direction.

I have a landscape spot light fixture with MR 16 led 12 volt ac 7 watt 5k brightness spotlight. I bought some 15° leds a few years ago. Cannot find them recently. So I used some 2” pvc to make a extension to light assembly. This sends light to flag in a small circle. Spot light is placed on side of garden pond waterfall mound.

I’m trying to avoid trenching in cable, it’s a long way to the box either way I go. I guess I could trench straight to the outdoor outlet and tie in there. Then I could use a floodlight with a dusk/dawn switch.

I was looking at running a line for this, but would run back from my property to close by where the feed comes in to my property.
So pole to box on house 600 feet, and then back to pole 600 feet, so I put in a solar 4 led spotlight. Not quite the same , but good enough.

I also suffer from horizontalspacelack-itis, both on my workbenches and my office desk. I find things need to sit and age an appropriate amount of time before being declared trash. That amount of aging is greater for me than others.

Had 1.37” of rain in this event. Matched my rain gauge best I could eyeball it. Heavy rain on way to work today.

Son stayed up and got a PlayStation 5 early this morning on it’s release day.

I’d also recommend the Army museum at Ft DeRussy in Waikiki, which is open to public. And if in the area, Pacific Aviation museum on Ford Island.

Makes me want to learn more about plumbing...

When I think about some of the guys who claim to be plumbers I ask myself how hard can it be? And it seems like they are constantly inventing new ways to make it easier.

Chris

Plumbing is generally easy, it’s the laying on the floor under the cabinet trying to remove a 20 year old rusted fixture that is hard. I replaced a faucet recently. Had to also replace the shutoff valve that wouldn’t work.

Governor Dewine held a primetime news conference yesterday announcing that he would be taking further steps:
:

The hotel we stayed at had signs on door that masks were required, but yet a bunch of construction crew guys staying there didn’t wear masks. Same in (a very good) local restaurant. They can yak about it all they want, but some just won’t follow the rules.

Don't use a floodlight, use a "Narrow beam spotlight". They are sold on Amazon.

My wife made some Asparagus in the air fryer. She let them go for 15 minutes. They have a unique flavor that I finally figured out - roasted peanuts. IMG_4112.JPG
