Rick, that's "fine furniture", very impressive
David, sounds like measure twice, cut once...

hugely aggravating dealing with Uhaul, only had smaller trailer and at a location far North of here when we are headed South.
Sure wish I still had my truck and trailer...

Rent a van maybe?

We make a similar meatloaf but our main ingredients are lentils and rice (instead of oatmeal). Glad you are experimenting!

I found some Clorox disinfectant spray in supermarket for first time last week. And of course the guy before me hogged up four of the six cans.
I almost said "do you really need so many?" but kept my mouth shut. I took one...will last me a long time.

Landscapers outside mulching garden beds. Nice guy, spotless equipment, all late model Ram trucks in dark green with his name nicely painted on side.
Owner is a generation younger than me, went to same high school, didn't recognize him with his white hair, then I thought about it...well, you ain't no spring chicken...;)

Drew;

You might this stuff a try on your floors.

That’s what we’ve used for years on laminate, vinyl and hardwood. I like it but it can build up if over applied, had a cleaning lady years ago that was cheating and putting it on heavily to avoid cleaning. Had to strip the kitchen, dining room, utility room, foyer, bathrooms were not as bad. That cleaning lady was dismissed.

Currently 81 with an 85° heat index, I guess we can call it Indian Summer since we had a brief freeze on the weekend.

Doc rebandaged my arm after irrigating it several times with saline, gave me some fancy bandages and antibiotics, still trying to bleed through the bandage but better than it was.

Drew, Food Lion usually has smaller stores with lots of locations, here they’ve remodeled all the older stores, widened the aisles and put in fairly large organic sections. We have three here in town, our Super Giant became an Acme after the merger, some places stayed the same and some Acmes became Super Giants. Not to be confused with Giant Open Air markets in the Tidewater, VA area. Some of those are huge and have everything including cafeterias in several, as do the Farm Fresh there. I remember when Food Lion was Food Town, had to change the name because a small NC chain had copyrights.

I called 409, they make Clorox/409/Lysol products the Stone and Steele cleaner is temporary not in production because they are prioritizing their other products during Covid19. I told them I have been seeing commercials on TV for some of their products and that their advertisement $ would be better spent on overtime for production because they are not available or sold out. She said they are working 24/7 now.

Today would have been moms 96th birthday.

Looks like I’ll go in to work tomorrow, wanted to stay home but got stuff that needs done.

Do you have time for some tractor work around the greenhouse?

Why of course, I can squeeze you in this afternoon.

Good evening, 90˚F this afternoon, waiting for some heat relief Friday and then Tuesday a week the bottom drops out and it will be the coldest day this Fall. The news media is really playing it up saying this might be our first freeze. (I don't think so, just another weather bomb.)

After fireWise trail widening I had to stop to watch the model sailboats race. This week, in person Spanish classes started and I saw a large (30) bike group taking off this morning. Slowly getting back to normal.

My grandfather had about 60 acres of what he called maize but it was not corn it was milo or sorghum. He would mix it with corn and feed it to the cattle in the winter.

Don, do you have to buy your own sailboat, or do they have them available for the people who want to join?

They are individually owned. It looked like there were racing each other, they had to go around little buoys at either end of the lake.

I've never RC sailed, but if there was competition (everyone with the same boat), it could be fun.
