46 going to 71.

I saw a skunk in the front yard when I got up at 4...went outside "hunting" it. Skunk won, this time.

Roasted coffee and danced the string trimmer along the wire fence...those fences sure eat a lot of string. Job complete after 4 (12') reloads and 2 battery recharges (over 2 days).

33 going to 58. Up early again.

Got 5 hours of leaf removal in and gave up for the day. Sore muscles from raking and hauling the tarp. Not feeling to bad this morning so will begin trying to do the other half of the yard later.
Wife is off work today and Monday so we will walk together this morning. Pellet stove is humming away and I'm sitting as close to it as I can. Need to find out from the doc if one of my meds is making me so darn cold all the time. I have lost another 5 lbs. trying to get down to a healthy weight. (Lost over 40 total) maybe that's why.

Mostly-Yes. I finished all my work projects or was able to hand them off properly.
I was given an ok send off by the boss but Covid made it a phone meeting with the 36 of us. My 5 guys threw me a little breakfast get together with some nice farewell cards.
Hopefully we will keep in touch but as they all live over 50 miles away we know how that will go.
No longer being a boss and responsible for all their and my work is a huge relief!

Now I just need to wait for insurance and pension. Could take up to 90 days before getting anything. Gotta love state government.
Enough rambling, I need another coffee. LOL.
Stay safe and healthy all!

Ahhh..TGIF....let me say that again.....TGIF.

I really need to retire.

Is 48 outside, heading to lower 70's. Another nice day on tap.

The electric is all done. It was a mess. It is less of a mess now. I ended up taking all my wall boards down. Thank goodness I use screws for most everything. I have new wire and outlets where I need them. Just need to figure out the porch light placements. Today. all the wall boards need to go back up, and I can do the foamboard stuff. I still have demo to do to get the three walls down that were holding the glass. Now they are holding the roof up. Just a bunch of 2x4's. I can leave them up while I lay the decking down.

I filled the dumpster more. It ain't leaving today. Need to get a few more pieces in it.

I need to start thinking about my fire wood pile...need to get the splitter working. Need to get the RTV fixed too.

Time to get the day started. Should be fun.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe.

Congrats, Phil. I hope you don't mind the early rise. It may take a while for your internal clock to find a new schedule. Mine went from 3AM to 5AM. LOL.

Good morning! 40 now, 70 or so later. Maybe some rain Saturday into Sunday.

Must have been that type of day BEF, I had a long one at work too. New department manager has a personality, wants to learn the job, and listens to the people that are on the front lines. What a breath of fresh air. Industrial sales guy and I had a late meeting with him about several issues we deal with that were ignored or swept under the rug by the previous manager. Even got some policy changes made the previous manager refused to address.

Everyone stay safe out there!

May do some leaf removal today, the past couple of windy days didn’t help as much as I hoped

Poured first cup of coffee. 34° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 76° with sunny skies. Dr. visit was for a blood draw. Easy in and out. Menards shopping went well also. Did not do anything else when I got home. Kind of under the weather. May be from Flu Shot and new meds. Furnace guy is coming to check things out this morning. After that do some grocery shopping. Lawn mowing is still on the list.
Sandhill Cranes are not happy with my dirt hill. They are now using the Garden Pond Waterfall Filter to play king of the hill. Chased them off.

Drew, hope everything goes good today and get setup in your new place tomorrow.

Rick, I bought one of those torches. Forgot all about it. Need to find it. More prayers for Dr. friend.

Phil, I have not solved the getting up early thing after 16 years. Blood pressure meds cause me to have cold hands and feet. They also cause dizziness when getting up and down. Working with my Dr. Down from 20mg to 5mg. Hope my diet changes are going to get me off of them all together by end of the year.

Buckeye, I need to get my fall pictures going. Should be better than other years with the drone.

Buppies, water pressure tanks for house?

Looking, good shopping trip went well.

David, interested in your WiFi upgrades.

Riptides, good electrical is fixed.

RNG, top and tilt is a replacement for what was already there? Good luck with tree inspector.

Everyone be safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

Good morning all. The blank firing teaser tups (vasectomised rams) are now out, replaced by three old timer rams and two young rams. One young ram is quite small, when he first arrived he looked a little apprehensive, as if he didn't understand why he was getting so much attention from a bunch of ewes who are a couple of years older than he is. Now he has worked out why, he can't believe his luck and seems intent on making the most of it.

Randy, I am still ripping jeans climbing over fences. Fortunately my wife takes it far better than my mother used to :)

LS, the lime is for pointing, thought I may be able to do a bit more next week when a drier spell spell is predicted. Now it is looking like it will turn frosty, so I may end up double bagging the 25kg paper sacks in polythene until next year.

Drew, safe journey as you go on to the next adventure.

Ken, here is a proof from a local paper that you were not dreaming about those hedgehog crisps.
Hedgehog Crisps''' Welshpool inventor dies, aged 74 | Shropshire Star

Good morning,
the temp is 36°F and going up to 54. Wind calm. 40% chance of showers.
The 40% chance of showers didn't happen yesterday. It was an awesome day.

If it doesn't rain I will finish cutting the grass and run the lawn sweeper over it. All the sweepings will get dumped on the compost pile.
I am not sure what I will get up to after that.

Have a safe day all
