My doctor friend, with COVID, is doing much better this morning. Sounds like he's turning the corner. His fiancé sounded a bit more relieved this morning. Prayers work.

Another long work day.
Yesterday was windy. Half the leaves are off the pretty tree that has turned. Most of my trees are oak, they just get brown eventually.

Had 3 deer jump on side of road on the way home, fortunately they jumped away and not towards me.

What do you use get the fire started?...fuel?

The fuel .. is in the burn pile Thomas. I've got a HF propane torch to light it off. Takes less than 10 seconds.

Good evening all. 60F for the start, some clouds, near calm wind. light wind day, clouds cleared off and high temp was 86F. Gopher update no new piles, no evidence he is still around. Today was conserve energy and putter day. did get walk in with wife, and new blind hung.

mostly, I had 4 extra stops this time. A normal trip is six stops, including breakfast at Tim Horton's and usually a sub to go from Mr. Sub. Formerly Mr. Submarine.

good morning all.
61 out now, going up to 76 today, cloudy day, my last day in Greenville NC.
RV driver coming by way of Uber at some point this morning.

Until then, time to vacuum, roll up the rug, vacuum again, clean out last of stuff in refrigerator and check every AC outlet to make sure I haven't left
anything plugged in. Then will retract slide, and go outside to put away hoses and hookups, everything except AC power. Then maybe a last walk around campground and read my book until driver shows up. About five hour drive to my brother's place in Markham VA, maybe a little less.

Lot of wet weather coming in this weekend, hopefully will get furniture unloaded before it starts. Folks in Louisiana going to get clobbered again.
