Good evening all. 62F for the start, clam wind, mostly clear sky. Sky stayed clear, wind light to moderate. and high temp was 87F. Humidity starting to build. Gopher update, no new mounds since yesterday, trap was tripped but empty. It has likely left or died, dog sniffed the mound locations but no reaction. Men's meeting to start, walk with wife, then bike ride. not much else got done but nap :) Did get to dog sit this afternoon.
Covid update: Cooke 477 confirmed cases, 19 active cases, Montague 195 confirmed cases, 6 active cases, Grayson 2009 confirmed cases, 84 active cases.

RNG sounds like a very good day overall. Missouri smog tests looks for resets codes, with GM cars there is a list of 10 events that turn off the reset codes. I used to know what it was.

stay safe and healthy you all.

"Rick nice snow pics. How often do you get snow?"

That was December of 2017, just over 3 month after Hurricane Harvey with 45"+ of rain.

Good morning. It was 68° this morning and our high should be about 88°. Our forecast says we're beck in the 90's Saturday thru Monday with 95° on Sunday. Whuuu?

Wind is low and out of the north so .. I'll probably get to light off BP #7 this morning.

We got #6 burned yesterday morning.

My doctor friend, with COVID, is doing much better this morning. Sounds like he's turning the corner. His fiancé sounded a bit more relieved this morning. Prayers work.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Prayers to all.

Good Morning!!!! 51F @ 7:00AM. Plentiful sunshine. Areas of smoke and haze are possible, reducing visibility at times. High 92F. Winds light and variable.
AQI 38 and 107, inside and out. It was clean enough yesterday evening to enjoy a cold one on the back porch without choking too much. Should improve more as the winds pick up with the sunrise.

My neighbor with the giant backhoe called and told me he had a hole in a fuel line he needed to braze up, so took care of that for him late afternoon. Always nice to be able to help someone with such a simple thing that has them over a barrel.

Noticed at the smog station that the belt to the new alternator was rubbing the belt that drove the A/C compressor, and black dust was everywhere. Took the alternator back off and added a couple washers under the pulley to fix the problem. Then chuckled because I wouldn't be able to cross that one off the to do list because it never made it on there. Still haven't figured out a way to use the smaller pulley, and will need to get a shorter belt. But will need to put the smaller pulley on and measure to figure out how much shorter to go.

Knocked off early and made dinner, and watched the debate. Turned it off as soon as the talking heads came on...

Gonna tackle replacing the top'n'tilt valve this morning with a fresh start. Not looking forward to more spilled hydro fluid, but at least it eventually evaporates.

Tree inspector should be here sometime today. Hoping for no surprises there.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

Rick, good news on your friend. Prayers sure worked for me...
Ken, I was in HF two days ago looking at a folding moving truck on sale for 28 bucks, nah I don't need that....
Very carefully tested the one big box, it was just doable and got it into car and into storage locker without becoming a casualty.
Coming down the steps in the rv was the tricky part (yes Ken...)had visions of toppling backwards so dragged it down step by step.
Now all the heavy lifting will be done by others.

Got all the kitchen pots and pans and related stuff packed, now operating on paper plates, one glass, one fork, one spoon and one bowl.
Sitting here catching my breath, then going to dismantle pc so I can take the table to the storage locker, along with one more box, and my folding outdoor lawn chair, and then
I'm done. Then I take storage locker key to front desk of Best Western where friend with truck/trailer is coming in late this afternoon. When I get back, then time to take my time and slowly wash the bottom of the rv and car. And lastly will take over the giveaway food I've got in the fridge to my neighbor in the campground. I've got dinner, and tomorrow's breakfast and lunch already wrapped up in fridge. Once all the stuff is out of fridge, then I can clean it too. And disinfect the kitchen and bathroom. By then I believe a long hot shower and a nap is in order.
Slowly but surely...plus got confirmation from rv dealer they really will show up tomorrow morning to buy this thing...I told them come as early as 8am, I'd be ready.

Looks like a very wet weekend due to the hurricane moving over the Central MidAtlantic, glad I'll be unpacked and settled in on Saturday before it hits. Multiple inches of rain predicted for Sunday and Monday. Good time to unpack boxes and figure out what goes where.

Toppop I will surely wave as I go by and will wave to David/MFW as I head by his exit on I-95

56F, and mostly sunny @ 11:00. High headed up to 67F for the day. Some chance of rain this coming Sun/Mon, about normal temps in the Ten Day (highs in 60's/70's)

Yesterday was very windy ... still not at peak color here - probably still about 10 days away - but a few leaves are starting to fall.

Removed box blade and FEL yesterday and installed MMM.

Mowed upper and lower fronts, and compost/woodlot.

On the agenda for today:

Take the torch to the yoke on the blower and see if I can't persuade it to come off.

If successful then a trip to Akron Bearing.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day ...

69°F and .23 inches rain.

Morning looking a bit better to start than yesterday.

Maybe a good day to get started on the roof build.

Did get a start configuring my improved Wi-Fi, but not to the point of mounting anything in place yet

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

50F cloud sun mix gusty winds no longer but good 10+ mph wind,if winds die down over night good chance ground will be white come morning.

Been good day...got town run done than change my mind and blow leaves for 4 hours, the big ditch was full of leaves  which took over an hour to clean but the wind was my best help when moving BIG piles.
Not much plan for this evening other than recliner early pillow.

Enjoy the day all.

I left here/home at 8:30 and arrived back at 2:15 P.M. Not all that bad, about an hour earlier than normal and two time consuming stops. The first one took 45 minutes and the 5th one took almost an hour. The good thing is that a couple of the stops covered 3 individual stores. He went one way and I went the other and got all three done.
In total IF you count each store there were 12 of them. We also stopped to eat something.
