Good morning!!!!

Dr appointment somewhat a non event. Looks like my back pain is likely a strained muscle. Continue taking ibuprofen and take it easy awhile. I suggested maybe 6 months and she laughed. Back in 2 weeks if no improvement.
Otherwise was able to talk her into the mail in version of colonoscopy exam which I’m due. No history or concerns from previous exams so prefer not to be drinking 10 gallons of prep.

Good evening all. 78F for the start, light rain, trace in t rain gauge, calm wind. Overcast morning, clearing in afternoon, wind 13-20 around noon, and high temp was 93F feels like 104F. walk with wife to start day, then worked on Peugeot, got handle bar tape done. Looked at installing bike computer, decide to go for ride instead. Will wait until more time in saddle with new parts before install. Did get nap in, helped wife make spaghetti sauce and had that for dinner.
Covid update: Cooke unchanged, Montague unchanged, Grayson 1483 confirmed cases, 94 active cases
Kyle thanks for update on daughter's performance, Good news on home compressor, IIRC when scroll compressors start going, they go quickly
Roy good luck with corrections, and with CT Scan
Buppies hope you don't get flooded too bad, kinda hard to work with that much rain, isn't it? Always more trouble if I don't take it apart. :confused3:
Thomas have fun puttering.
Luther nice dry air, junk and rabbits most prolific things
TinHack Ken, welcome :welcome:
Don don't want Gray2 attacking a racoon!, and probably not a rat. You and the wife enjoy your cooking, got a place indoors to put hose reel together?
Ron glad you got most of the fascia done, and someone to do ladder work. Nice woodpecker pic. Not my favorite bird had about 30+ knots pecked out pf cedar lap siding on east side and nests started :( 58 years long time , glad you had each other!
RNG As hot as it gets here, might as well nap. :) Getting ready for new TV to replace Vizio TV seeing same thing.
Dave, since they have not replaced the 52, I don't understand why the do not update the engines
Randy, it was raining again here more than just dew! Congrats on 42 years with first wife
David(Moss) Still a lot going on. I enjoyed meeting you in STL. good luck with meet and greet
Billy glad you got spraying done and can get food plots planted
Drew understand about lack of speed had 100meg speed in STL then cut back to 5 meg n non fiber line. On fiber now and back to 25 mbit. Lake looks like an interesting fish opportunity. Nice park
Ted I am color indifferent.
David moving 600 miles the packing is even more painful.
Ken I would use up some of the working bulbs before changing over
PJ awesome news on pond, looks great! Glad you got some honey do's done. Nice to hear Nadia getting a new home.
RS poison ivy never fun, wife had it get into blood stream years ago, had to do steroids to get rid of it.
David have fun with caretaker place, that is some watermelon.
Finish tomorrow while it is raining :)

David (MFW), hope it all comes together.

Another vote for not liking packing. That痴 why I tell everyone my next move won稚 require packing, just scatter my ashes in the pet cemetery.

Amen. Just not ready for that yet...

50 right now...high in the mid-70's...

Thanks for all the best wishes, folks! I'll be work half day, then heading to the hospital. I know I won't get the results back today, but I will when they come through (by Friday, I would think)

About 5-6 weeks ago, I think I wrote about finding a lady's wallet in a local quickstop parking lot. Took about a week or so, but we finally tracked her down, through her son in southern Virginia and got her wallet (with about $200 in it, and picss of her grand kids) back to her. We got a card and a very sweet thank you note from her yesterday. It was a very pleasant surprise...note almost brought me to tears

Amen. Just not ready for that yet...

Me either LOL

I think one of our worst moves, in Germany we moved from one 3rd floor quarters to another just across the block. Mandatory move from unit slated for renovation to unit just completed. Nice but what a pain.

good morning all. 73 going up to high 80s today, cloudy, maybe some showers.
Last night for several hours it lightly pitter pattered on the roof, not in forecast, but sounded nice.
Looks like a mostly dry week ahead.

Roy that was nice of you to do to help that lady, a real kindness.

other than run to pharmacy this morning, not much planned.
Dennis, good luck with the mower, hope you find all the little pieces
RS hope your poison ivy is healing

Well! Flooring is going great. floorinstall.jpgmasterfloorhall.jpgmasterfloor.jpg
1 room complete and hopefully the 2 smaller rooms today.
Air install still not right. Thermostat refuses to talk to unit. Several calls to Bosch and HP have resulted in no progress. This thermostat is needed in order to qualify for a substantial rebate, but not looking good for me.
Tech has been great as he was here all day sunday and most of the day yesterday. All free so far. Hopefully will be back today to finish.
Now that it is starting to get cold nights the oil burner has started with an issue. That tech is coming this afternoon.(will have 3 different companies here) I need to retire soon just to make the house available for repairs. LOL.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy. Wish me luck on the repairs!

Watch a 5-HP Tractor Blast Around the Nurburgring
Maybe David/Sodamo knows a little German and can follow this but here's what you do with the biggest tractor in town and some free time
on your hands...
Smooth is good here, bet one could roll that tractor at speed if not careful, though they probably come with stability control now.
Personally I'd rather watch a tractor pull
