Good morning!!!!

Still having trouble with meds, heart rate sitting in a chair was 49. Also had what I call a woozy head when I stand up straight. He took away two pills and added one.
Hope you get your meds straightened out quickly!

Only time I sleep in bathroom I’m sitting (hopefully).
David, I'm pretty tall, I don't think I will fit in there to sleep....

LS, can u sleep standing up???

I'm going in for an abdominal CT scan on Tuesday (01 Sept). My doctor is concerned about a 25-30 pound weight loss over the last couple months. I'm not trying to lose weight, but I've had little appetite since I had my teeth (all of them) pulled a few months ago...and, I just can't eat anything but soup with my dentures.
I've had other abdominal issues since my stroke in 1999...strokes don't just paralyze what one can see...there can be (and was in my case) internal paralysis as well...really screws up my digestion.

Have a great day, troops!!

Roy, I hope they can help you out, and figure out what's up, and fix it. Diabetes often causes unexplained weight loss. I need to drop some weight too. I have gained 6lbs in the last 5 years....on top of the 20lbs in the 20 years preceding that.

Billy, hope the new vet can help Coco. Yelling at Bears.....Sounds like an album title. I'd like to yell at them with some frozen paint balls. :)

Eeees HOT! 103F feels like 111F. Got up and replaced the rear brake pads on the commuter car...actually taught son how to jack up the car, and use the 1/2" impact to remove the lugnuts, and to tighten them back up.

Then daughter got on the riding mower, and I manned the weedeater....got the yard done. Garden is toast. But we did get .18" freak shower last night at 9ish, which also drenched the local high school football game while the bands were playing at halftime. Cooled things down from 90F to 75F for a bit.

RNG, far be it from me to figure out electrical gremlins, but I'm tuned in. So, if a large load tries to start, the system voltage drops? Or does it not start? Assuming you have large enough wires. How do you plan to find the "weak" link, which won't throughput the necessary amps? Will you put the scope on different locations of the system? It is very typical to manage loads while on a generator. Do you have some guesses yet? Do you think that the battery bank can't release energy fast enough or the controllers could be the "weak" link?

Mostly no nap???what is coming of this year???

Drew, glad to hear of your good checkups, and your glass half full outlook. We are all pulling for you.

I won't mention the "T" word, I have it too.

Eric, hope the storms have left, and the sheep are in good order. And your wife's eyes are better. I had a strange dream, somehow I was touring around central UK and needed to stop for some petrol. The cheap side of me was just flabbergasted at the fuel prices, so I kept driving until I was almost out. I pulled in this old mom and pop gas station out in the boondocks, and they had recently harvested their pumpkin patch. There were all things made with pumpkin, pumpkin bread, pumpkin seeds toasted, etc....I know I dream in color, because the lady offered me some orange colored pumpkin/citrus marmalade jam on a hot bicky....and then I woke up. I told you it was strange...

Buppies, appreciate the paving info. Interesting stuff to me.

Kids are going back to school Monday. I hope we can all get up on time. I will drop them off, they'll ride the bus home. My theory, is that they'll start school, and try to keep kids separated, but inevitably some will catch Covid and carry it home....Not sure if they'll stop school or not, but I guess they will.

A friend once suggested using a single scarifier in the box blade to cut a shallow trench. It won't remove the dirt, but it'll be a lot easier to shovel...

Believe me, I have though about a bunch of different ways to do it.... problem is the power panel is inside a fence about 4', the other side of that fence has a raised landscape bed for another 4'. That forms an "L" corner with another fence for about 12'. All that before it is open enough to get the tractor close enough.... there is approximately 60' that is clear... then another raised landscape bed with a 4' wide walkway behind it... that is where the cable has to go for the last 20'.

I may try the box blade with one tooth down to do the clear area if I can't come up with a solution to use the BH and a single ripper... I don't want to drill the BH bucket, or weld a bracket on. I am trying to design a "clamp on" type of mount... then I think by the time it would take to make the mount, I could have the trench dug by hand.....

If you dig by hand enough, you CAN sleep standing up with the aid of a shovel for a prop. :)

RNG,

Here you go.

Another successful day in the shop.... fuel cart is done. Hose and nozzle holder worked out well, made it bigger than needed, but ok. The suction hose holder works well with a hook to hold the hose that turns to release the hose. I need to come up with a cover / holder for the suction end strainer... the plastic bag won't last long... Battery tray and can tray worked perfectly.

Here are some pics of it finished:

I didn't use up as much metal as initially thought, so... next project is a welding cart to hold all the stuff on one portable cart.
Details and pictures to follow ..... just don't know when...

It is pre finished hickory. We did the dining area and living room in the same color a few years ago.It is holding up to wear very well.

I’ve got to do that, lately I’m getting fuel and leaving it in the pickup so I can slide over the tailgate and set it on the tractor. That way I don’t have so far to lift it. But that’s not a permanent fix like yours.

Randy,

I’ve been using this for fuel transfer in the boats for a couple of years. Bought another for diesel for the tractor.
