Good morning!!!!

Well .. mine should be in the mail box by about 2:30 this afternoon.

I have a mix of both .325 and 3/8 chains. I'll let you know how it works.

Don.. I’ve just received my sharpener and it works perfectly. The outer bar rides on top of next cutter to the left of the one your sharpening. 3/8 pitch and 5/32 file.

I wonder if they sent you the wrong one or the plastic carrier was mis-labeled??

I’ll take the chains off of the Lynxx 40 Bolt pole saw and chain saw and give them a Simple Green Pro degreaser bath, in the ultrasonic cleaner .. mañana. That will get the sap, from the cedars I’ve cut last few days also.

Like I still live below the Mason Dixon line in Maryland!

Except the mason dixon line was created to separate the Penns from the Calverts before the revolutionary war.

We got a storm right before I got home. .25”
Another storm off to the west. Lots of pop up storms.

Another storm rolled in, so far 1 3/4” since 5 PM. We had over 1.5” in less than an hour and now we have a total of about 1.75” from one storm. We got .01 from the early one. And it’s still raining.

We got 1/4” rain

Wife created a new stuffing for stuffed peppers that was really good. She used bbq sauce, chili powder, onions, other stuff. No ketchup.
Canning another batch of green beans from the bushel she bought. Last night they came off at midnight. She had these going when I got home. Will probably get 5 more qts with what is left.
She made peach cobbler the other night, but the cake part was too salty. And needs more peaches.

I bought another small backup drive recently 2 or 3 tb for around $70. I use free file sync to backup key laptop folders. I hook up portable and run it occasionally. Most important to me is pictures. I have not used a ssd drive yet. No moving parts, but I’ve had too many memory sticks fail. I use multiple backups.

You are right it is a penetrant but in the directions on the back label it says for use in carburetors to loosen throttle plate and remove varnish etc. I first heard about it when I started getting into Japanese KEI trucks which are mostly 3 cylinders and the fresh imports are notorious for having filthy, polluted fuel and cooling systems.I've owned 4 of them and on 3 I had to remove the gas tank to clean it thoroughly then replace all the flex fuel lines and filters. The carburetors on most of these little trucks are a nightmare with several vacuum lines and a real pain to try to rebuild and get back together right. I think this is the reason the guys started to look for a simpler way to clean up the carb. passages and most of them ended up using Seafoam with pretty good success.

After having success on these little trucks I tried it on a chain saw that was starting to act up and it worked on it. I've used it on several other small engine tools that were either running poorly or not at all and it worked on the majority of them but not all. On the ones that this didn't fix I just replaced the carb. with the cheap after market units and that usually worked.

If you want to read more about the Japanese Kei trucks there is a forum called Japaneseminitrucks.com that is fairly active and has a lot of good information.

I ordered a can of the spray sea foam, will try it on the go kart carb that B12 hasn’t worked on.

Well that was fun -NOT. Hope to never mow that wet again. Basically got the 2 acres done except some of the edges, just too muddy and the sloped area side of of the cane road too slick.

But good enough for a couple of weeks

Now to get ready for Lowes.

I mowed in standing water three years ago, it kept raining like it is now and I ended up with 2” of water after a week of waiting it was turning into a hay field. So I raised the deck to keep the blades out of the deeper water, that was my Kubota ZTR.

Glad your chain sharpener worked for you Rick.

The fuel was not the problem with the stihl weedeater, it was the air. A seal in the carburetor kit was obstructing an air flow port. The ace repair man found it.

Cedarcided for 4 hours this morning, chain sawed the cedars under the oaks and the park dept. sheared the ones not under the low oak tree canopy.
