I spoke with a couple of young ladies who came by at work this morning to let us know that their brother, one of our forklift drivers, was murdered Saturday night. That's a tough conversation to have, I can tell you. His wife came in later and talked to the owner of the company. When he told her of the life insurance policy, she broke down and cried, saying, "He's still looking after me even after he's gone."

Looked up the story on one of the local news websites, and apparently the shooter turned himself in at the crime scene.

He was a good guy, just living in a bad neighborhood. I'm going to actually miss him.

Sad story. Prayers for family and friends.

Don, you must be a lifelong Texan. What you are describing is often thought of as the Deep South...
For us Northerners, the South is pretty much Virginia and down.

Good day for putter jobs long as sun was beating down on you.
Plans for this evening after dinner shower get comfortable in my favor deck chair have orange popsicle than if mother nature doesn't decide get eveything quick soaking.

While staining wishing well today I keep hearing clucking sound near me I guess Mr. Turkey decided I needed supervision,after I left he keep staring at wishing well.

Fordhook (never hear of them either), in the South they are called butterbeans or lima beans (large and small). And yes there is a good Instant Pot recipe for "Butterbean Soup", with 1 bag (16oz) of large lima beans, carrots, celery, onions, bay leaves poultry seasoning oregano, Italian seasoning, pepper, cloves and allspice - 30 minutes in the IP.

Butterbean a little different than ford hook. At least the sell both here. Butterbean also large but whiter.

I looked up the fordhook beans and they do sell them at HEB, (just like the pic Randy posted) they look like frozen baby green limas, they are on the grocery list to try.

My cousin was murdered at a convince store outside Austin years ago.

Travis County - Austin - will be the first on a Zoom trial by jury in the world starting next week. I just started doing my Zoom homework (I'm not on the jury, just coincides with the neighborhood class I signed up for).

David you Zoom a lot, do you see any downsides for a jury?
