Nice job LS, as always!!!
I need a small overhang over my barn man door (weather has rotted the frame)
I hesitate because to do it right I need to pull the metal off, frame it, then put metal back with all the j channels, etc.

Here’s picking up hay bales in 1996. Poor vhs quality video.

Good evening all. 57F to start, partly cloudy, light breeze. Light wind day, clouded up in afternoon, no rain, high temp was 83F. Bike ride this morning, nap, putter in afternoon including some organizing in garage. Also put new tapered leader on fly line, will play with that some next time fishing.
Covid update: Cooke unchanged, Montague unchanged, Grayson confirmed up to 310, active back to 181.
David nice work on the electrical end, hope you get the last bit on the unswitched sorted out.
Don sorry about the news, you would think EGO would be up front about that policy :confused2:
Roy my stepdaughter is working for a plant in Parsons Kansas.
Eric, not familiar with tench fish, do you eat them? I should have left earlier to get nap in ;)
Ron sorry about the starlings, nice sunrise pic.
Thomas peanut growing fast.
Ken they are sure proud of motor and inverter.
PJ hope you can get the pond finished without lawyers. :2cents:
RNG I know I won't use 90% of the stuff I save, but I never know which 10% will get used. Have fun with the battery stand fab. :ashamed::confused2:
Welcome back Drew!!
Mike I thought that was a North Texas thing. :confused3:
RS sorry the mail is taking so long. I ordered shoes from New Balance and they gave me a estimated delivery date, based on UPS gets package to Gainesville then USPS delivery. When USPS got it, they said 4 days to deliver, it showed next day :confused2:
Don good luck with getting warranty.
Randy good luck with the critter, we got nightly visits for a week, critter finally quit.
RS sorry about the pin size, good luck with rest of seal project.
Don glad you are getting action on battery.
Ted I thought sons were doing all the work?
prayer for all especially Drew (glad you could post)
stay safe and healthy.

We did a zoom video with my FIL in the hospital. Today was encouraging, some improvements. PT was working with him. He did open his eyes a little ( he usually has them shut) and he was able to whisper his name.

I may need to redo my videos I did last week. Because the avi files were so big I converted to mp4. This program had an old mp4 codec that my video editing sw doesn’t recognize. Unfortunately I found out after erasing the avi files. The newer video editing sw can not capture using my usb capture device, I have to use the old sw that came with it. I can play the videos with one app, but some won’t play them.
I have another converter that will convert from the old mp4 to the newer, but I’m concerned about video quality loss making another conversion. They are only 720x 480 to start with from vhs.
Here’s one I converted back.

66 right now...high in the low 80's today...quite a bit "less hot" than yesterday's mid-90's.

Drew's back...gang's all here!

Txdon, I've bought several EGO product...mostly from Home Depot. Other than two batteries (a 2.0Ah and a 2.5 Ah), both at least 4 years old, no problems. The 2.0 battery just won't take a charge, the 2.5 Ah battery takes a charge...seems to work OK but the power light keeps flashing green

I'd be interested in learning more details of that system, David. I've got a mishmash of WiFi routers, some set up as APs, and network extenders, each with its own login, and none of them very strong or fast. I've had my eye on the Ubiquity stuff for a while now, and am thinking it'll be the next project after the solar is done. Just have had a hard time finding the beginning of the thread on how to get started with their stuff. Did you leave any breadcrumbs along the trail you blazed?

I too have a mishmash.
No real documented path to find, but
Started with mix of Airports / Airport Expresses, goal just to get coverage at house and cottage.
Replaced some of those with eeros mesh system.
When we did the vacation rentals I tried to give them net separate from mine.
In 2017 my ISP went out of business. I inherited ubiquiti Nano as provider told me the Ubiquiti stuff would suit my needs.
Replaced ISP with AT&T cellular based system using Mofi4500 connected to my routers.
Expanded that with the Mobley powering the Picostation.
So this is enhancement to that Mobley piece. Ubiquiti has a vast variety of stuff - way beyond my expertise. I’ve only tried the Pico/Nano, but think all the AirMax stuff maybe compatible. Willing to share what I learn as well as hits from the more knowledgeable. I’d be happy with my house/personal network, guest network, cottage network, and and outside/property network. Just to keep it simple.

Its real, the serial number was confirmed by EGO to be valid. The receipt given to them was real also just not an "authorized seller", so they had an excuse not to honor the warranty. Amazon did come through (after a long chat, two operators and a supervisor) and will refund the amount of the battery after communication with the seller failed.

Ego basically said it the responsibility of the buyer to buy from an authorized seller and planned on not taking any action on the seller, because as they say there are just too many of them. So I suggest before buying a replacement battery go to the EGO website and find a dealer close to you through EGO's search engine and do not buy on-line unless you confirm they are an authorized seller through EGO.

My EGO battery serial number and receipt was registered on and accepted by EGO on their website. Big help that was. (sarcasm)

Randy, Raccoons like to poop on rock.

I’m guessing EGO still took the money from the non authorized dealer.

Got the metal roofing done today. I was really dragging. Took a lot of breaks. Sun was blocked multiple times by clouds, so I started timing my breaks with the periods of sun, definitely helped. I am NOT doing anything tomorrow!

Max and Kassie are enjoying the new covered porch!

RNG, yes, the whole assembly is screwed together using 4 in screws.

Another excellent, well done project 🤙
