Good evening! Was in Giddings today so i got a haircut. Maybe the clippers will be back in stock by the next time.

Caution EGO owners
My warranty claim on an EGO battery that only lasted 13 months of the three year warranty was NOT honored by EGO because the amazon seller I bought the replacement battery from was not an authorized seller.

Take it to Amazon....they can put pressure on the seller. BTW, who was the seller?
The problem is, unless the seller warranted the battery, they may not be willing to uphold EGO's warranty.
Did you register the battery when you received it?
I buy a lot of stuff through Amazon, including some EGO products. I haven't seen any price breaks though...a 5.0 Ah battery costs the same on Amazon as it does at Home Depot (which is an authorized seller). These were sold by Amazon.com Services LLC

Yeah Drew. Prayers for you.

Not much happening, trying to get estimates for Porch and Fencing. One would think at this time, people would be jumping to get work, Quite the opposite, outrageous estimates and no shows. Sigh.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe.

77F and cloudy @ 12:00 ... high today is supposed to be 83F.

Late night, late start ...

Got an email yesterday from DHH saying the hoses had shipped ... as of 05:11 this morning they had left the USPS DC in Philly.

Only issue I see is that USPS says the expected delivery is Monday (it's a Priority Mail package ...)

Calling for 50% chance of thunderstorms tomorrow, and 100% on Friday.

Probably take a shot and see if I can at least break the gland nuts loose on the curl cylinders today and get them moved up to the shop.

Other than that, work on finishing up pantry ... along with normal daily chores.

Have you considered pressing Amazon to get the "seller" to get involved Don?
Another long story.
Amazon sent the seller a email and seller sent me an email with a link of where to send the battery to but the link just goes to a page that the seller is no longer an authorized seller on Amazon. I'm going after Amazon now.

RNG. I have an existing internet powered by my Mobley fed to Ubitquiti Picostation as an AP. Unfortunately there are some bad areas due to terrain etc. My hope is by adding a second Picostation (omni directional antenna)as Receiver I can fill some of the voids and get a better signal overall on whole 21 acres. Thinking the tractor mounted receiver will work. I’m not much a network guy, so getting the right settings is a bit of luck.

Decided the constant power to camera system not a good idea, too much voltage drop over night. I’ll rewire to a switched circuit.

I'd be interested in learning more details of that system, David. I've got a mishmash of WiFi routers, some set up as APs, and network extenders, each with its own login, and none of them very strong or fast. I've had my eye on the Ubiquity stuff for a while now, and am thinking it'll be the next project after the solar is done. Just have had a hard time finding the beginning of the thread on how to get started with their stuff. Did you leave any breadcrumbs along the trail you blazed?
