RNG, surprise to hear your bent the arms. Somewhere on TBN in a discussion of lift arms, Quick hitch, Pat’s is also reference to a European method that seemed quite popular. Pretty sure someone put on a Kubota.

Taking a lunch break with wife.
Building wire harness for my canopy accessories.
Found 2 vacant switched fuses in fuse box, EHL and Power Shuttle. Also wanted a non switched feed for my USB socket. Decided not to run new line from battery. In the fuse box the 4 way flasher is always on. Never felt I really needed them to warn the wildlife so I’m splicing into that. Unfortunately the panel switch holder I got is too large, need to find right size for the factory hole, using the one just above throttle level.

My Branson 8050 came with them stock and I just threw a quick hitch on it when I got the tractor and never tried to use them.
One day after I got thru hooking up to the regular drawbar and having to crawl thru the quick hitch getting the pto hooked up
when I disconnected I removed the quick hitch to try the Euro style hooks and I have never gone back.
I can back into an implement with the top of a hook and push it till the other hook lines up lift up and the lift arms are hooked up,
I do have to get off the tractor to connect the top link.
But the access to the back of the tractor for the pto and hydraulics are so much nicer without the quick hitch in the way.

Spanner wrench delivered ... looks to be decent of quality, is a "Martin Tools" brand ... :thumbsup:

Fits ok into the pin hole on the boom cylinders, wasn't going in on curl cylinders (but I didn't try real hard ) ... hopefully may just be due to paint ... will find out more once I give it a tap or two with the plastic-headed hammer.

Grocery order placed for pick up on Thursday, shepherds hook moved to the front entryway, hummingbird feeder cleaned out, new batch of juice made, feeder filled and hung, cats and fish all fed (except for the bristle nose cats, whose tank I still need to vacuum), load of laundry done, clog cleared from kitchen sink, whole house vac emptied and container washed out, trash taken up to the can and mail retrieved.

More progress made on pantry - including swapping out an incandescent for an LED - under watchful eye and strict supervision of The Squeak:

... who is also fully qualified to ... luxuriate ... no matter where she finds herself ...​

... - but still a little ways to go to finish it up.

I bent the sliding stabilizer on the L3940 3ph arm. It caught on the BH bracket. Because of the cab, kubota puts an extender on to move the BH further back. I’ve only had BH off and 3ph on two times. With the ZT, might not take BH off again.

RNG - my QH came from TSC ... but it's actually a Speeco.

Can't say I was all that impressed with the cosmetics of the build quality (Speeco - you guys ever hear of an angle grinder ? ... flap wheel ?) ... looked like it had been sitting around in the store for quite a long time. TSC failed to include the pin adapters that should have come with it. But I wouldn't be without it (or something similar)

Haven’t seen the squeak in a long time.

My Bh boom cylinder has a drip. Was worse when I first got it, but not as bad now. I have never taken a cylinder apart.

Worked an 11 hr day. Just getting caught up on GM.

Wife picked 3 buckets strawberries today, first day the pick your own was open. Then she made 3 batches strawberry jam. Had enough left for shortcake.


I’m still working on digitizing vhs tapes. The program writes as avi files, which quickly filled my hard drive. Converting to mp4 now, 1/5 to 1/10 the size with no noticeable difference.

Did a quick spray around house cause ants been visiting. Then sprayer clogged. Suction screen is ok, so have to check hose. It worked well then suddenly stopped. Might need to blow air thru line.

Haven’t seen the squeak in a long time.

She's very well fed (mostly due to the incessant whining and crying and pestering) ... and will actually gorge herself to ensure that the other cats won't eat any leftovers.

She starting to get a tad pudgy ... but she's pretty still tiny for cat.

Open a can of wet food or just take open one out of the 'frig and remove the plastic and she will magically appear ... even if she's been sleeping and appears dead to the world.

It's like magic.

My Bh boom cylinder has a drip. Was worse when I first got it, but not as bad now. I have never taken a cylinder apart.

I've had tie-rod cylinders apart ... but never disassembled one with this type of gland nut. It will be interesting I'm sure ...

I got a chance to get all the rafters up into place, ready for the metal roofing. The sun was beating me into submission, and I had to give up around 2pm. Mr knee was also complaining about the job, so called it quits. Tomorrow is another day. Wifeys brother (BIL) sent her a hummingbird wind chime... of course that had to get hung up... before I even got finished. A couple of pics in progress ....

Update
Found some vinyl tube suitable to protect the wires.

Ran it inside from fuse box to right side. There was an oblong rubber grommet that I slit and brought harness up in engine compartment and directly into this tube


The 2 switched fuses work great, the non switched hazard light fuse not so much. Need to investigate. Might forego the always on option any as I don’t know what the constant drain is and I surely don’t want to kill the battery. The only thing I lose going to a switched circuit is the date/time function - not that important.

One of the switched feeds goes to the 12vdc POE to power internet access. Need to configure the Picostation.

Good evening all. 60F for the start, overcast, light breeze. Light wind day, only 1 or 2 peaks of sunshine late in the day, and high temp was 70F. Cleaning lady prep to start day, worked on 10 speed back brake, adjusted brake pads on front brake aired up tires and got support tools in under seat pouch. Re tweaked front pads, and tighten rear skewer and 10-speed is back in business, no trouble on ride. Got back too late for nap Rain has disappeared from ten day forecast except for tomorrow afternoon.
Covid update: Cooke unchanged, Montague unchanged, Grayson confirmed 313, active 182.
Buckeye glad snake did not get your wife.
Ted sounds like you had a day to recover, and work on your own.
Roy and Thomas I am happy my low temp for day has reach 80F yet. :cool2:

Ron 18 yr is long tome for belt. I still remember replacing the one on the Agco.
David Took me several ride to get use to the extra air flow while riding.

65 right now...high in the low 90's today (starts cooling off tomorrow).
I'm in the midst of an audit at work...me being the auditee. This is a "remote" audit as the auditor is working out of a plant in Kansas. She's doing OK...but scheduling is a hassle and I'm losing a lot of time setting around waiting...sorta like the old "hurry up and wait" in the military.
