RNG. That nice tractor deserves extendable arms and telescopic stabilizers. Have to admit I was abit surprised when you posted a pic of the basic ones, but resisted saying anything.
Somewhere here in the TBN forum there is a discussion of how Kubota short changed the TLB tractors in the 3PH department. Part of it stems from being a Class 2 hitch, built heavier to take heavier loads. I'll need to dig that thread up and see if there are better options. Gotta say, though, that I had the telescoping arms on the old tractor, and bent the heck out of them a couple of times, and even broke one. The turnbuckles on the
M62 work really well; it's the first time the box blade isn't lurching side to side like a drunken sailor. I really miss being able to telescope the 3PH mounting holes, though. Makes for a lot of jumping up and down out of the seat to nudge the tractor just a scosch. The tractor has a creep button, but unless you're in low low, even the smallest nudge is too much. And it doesn't work at all unless you're sitting in the seat.
I'm also struggling with the SSQA up front. Most of it is just not being able to see the upper tips with relation to the cleat they fit into; I have to get up out of the seat and walk forward on the deck to see anything. Part of it is I just don't have many level places, and none that are concrete, on which to store implements. Makes either end hard to mount when one side is higher than the other. There's also the problem, at least on the bucket, that the underside of the cleat is covered with weld spatter, and the upper tips don't want to seat fully. When things settle down around here, I'll dress those surfaces down and give them a nice coat of paint, then grease.
