54 and looks like rain is ending for a while. Going to 63.

In addition to our mail yesterday, we got two neighbors' mail. I guess they are subbing out delivery duty. :)

Today's Quarantine humor (special Sodamo edition):

Hormel made their first batch of Spam in 1937.
The company has just announced that due to hoarding by consumers,
they are going to make a second batch.

LOL.

I use to know an IT guy that collected SPAM cans from all over. He had a cubicle full of different flavors. I never knew there were so many different varieties of that "product". LOL. He worked on large scale messaging systems, filtering out messages by code, for "spam". Great guy! Fun times.

Good morning all. Cooler day today, ground very wet out, got just under 2 inches of rain, but so far haven't seen any tree damage.
Lab reports came back showing basically nothing wrong, very frustrating since I had a bad night again, almost constantly nauseous.
another day of reading books I guess. Need to go to Walmart to pick up one prescription, doc office called it in to wrong drugstore.

trying to be happy with what I have and not focus on what I don't. Toppop, get better

Drew I am no doctor but it sure sounds like you are having a negative reaction to some medicine being prescribed. I started having acid reflux diarrhea found out one of my prescriptions causes this

Coffee has cooled enough to drink. 42° with some sun this morning. Heading to 64° with mostly skies in PM. Got house cleaned while outside we got 1" of rain. My Aunt decided to come and visit yesterday instead of today. Going a fun few days. Need to cut lawn. But may be to wet. Going to try and get a drone video of garden pond if winds do not get to high. Forecast is 10 to 20 mph.
Our Governor is having a battle with legislature. So she going to punish us/them by extending state of emergency until May 28th. CV numbers keep going up. No idea who is right.
Finches are back from their winter migration.

Eric, welcome back.

Jay, your steaks look good. There were some very nice looking steaks while I was shopping Wednesday. But at $10 a lbs no one was looking at them. I looked. But still have several in freezer.

Mostly, looks like vinegar cleaner works good from your pictures.

Don, similar stories about people not getting treatment for serious illnesses around here. While hospitals here are closing because of elective surgery being forbidden.

Wngsprd, good joke.

RNG, around here trenches are by length. Depth is charged for wells.

Randy, best wishes for injury to heal without more bleeding.

Drew, sure hope they find reason for your nausea.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

now Jay is talking of Soylent Green  . Don, until food is plentiful again, maybe best keep quiet about your body being entirely plant based :eek: :D

Eric, you make a good point there. Humans like meat derived from plant based diets, - cows, sheep, chickens, wait are chickens plant based?

Good morning! 61˚F heading to the high 80s, lots of sun, humidity at 39%.
A new memo came out from the garden club that relaxes some more of the restrictions, - face mask are not required because of the heat and weekend watering and harvesting have been included. It won't be long before they will need tractor work and I'm already at the starting line ready to go.

No word on my neighbor, her husband is still turned away at the door to the hospital. He said they did test her for covid-19 and those test are negative. That's good because Gray2 visits them often and we know cats might be carriers.

The kids like laying around when I get caught up on the morning TBN post.IMG_3645.JPG

Today’s low temperature of 49ºF was at midnight and it was raining heavily. Presently a dreary, foggy, rainy 52; and I anticipate a cloudy afternoon high temperature ~60ºF and maybe a T-storm or 2 later today as the cold front moves through.. 0.77” of rain since midnight reported.

Those steaks came out rare-medium rare. I did not check the stove temperature while cooking, but I knew it was +600ºF when I went to get the steaks. They cooked in 3 minutes; rested ~15 minutes.

Randy- I am sorry to read about your cut. I hope it heals quickly. I do not know how I missed your post.

Bruce- 40 years of R/C experience is amazing. I can imagine the $ invested.

Ted- As a former stimulus junkie I can relate. Sometimes I miss dealing with head cases. Now I can only deal with myself.

Eric- I am happy to see you posting again and making me laugh.

Billy- Thanks for the laugh.

Mike- I am sorry to read about your Daughter. My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers for her and for all others who despite the personal risk do what they were trained to do without question.

Drew- I am sorry that the lab work did not reveal the cause of your nausea.

RonJH- I/We are still doing bird counts. For flocked Goldfinches- 24 on 4.29, 26 on 4.30, and 23 this morning. I get crosseyed at times with the counts.

Covid-19 by any science derived prediction is going to be with us for a long time.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.
