Good morning, the sun is shining and ... same same same. At best we get only half hearted wisps of white that have no intention of releasing any raindrops. Some of you must be accustomed to these conditions, for me I'm not sure if it was seeing another empty sky or the sight of Ron's rodents that has brought on groundhog day weather blues
Rick, your tree cleanup is going well. In the background of the last pic, looks like there could be a few more to keep you busy. I hadn't heard of yaupon before, now each time I see a herbicide label listing clopyralid, I think of the lostcreek-stump-killer !
"
shame you can't screen directly into tractor bucket". Thanks for the thought Mostly, I am ok for tractor time at the moment and opted to accumulate maximum manual labour brownie points, with 4 or 5 barrow loads of soil each evening. Should help keep me in my wife's good books for a few more days
David, please say thanks to Sophie for the double rainbow pic. Great to see proper clouds too !
Drew, good to hear the epidural went well.
JB, I'm beginning to get the feeling you will miss all the dressing up when this virus is over
LS, you have really transformed your garden area over the last week or so. Do you have somewhere in shade to sit out and enjoy it ?
The flowers your wife asked about are primulas (primula veris), otherwise know as cowslips. A few grow wild around here, I will have a look when I am out to see if they are also in flower.

Wng, with negative prices per barrel, it is a good job your neighbor only struck metaphorical oil. If you had a mega windfall, would you want to move ?
