Mostly-(
Randy how long till the Dr review the heart monitor info?)

The doctor gets it real time, then the lab analyzes the totality and sends a report. Not sure when I’ll hear.
Doc called me the day after I got it to tell me I was going in and out of Afib and that he was changing medication.

30 outside this AM. Heading to lower 60's. The squirrel family seems to have disappeared yesterday? Very odd. After the hangout and explore mode the other day, strange.
Did not get to lawn. Got a side job call. Sort of need the cash.
Daughters still in the ER down south. But get this, they have cut back staffing. Of course she said yesterday they got slammed. I guess everyone is trying to find that balance.

As I look out the front this AM, the pasture is frosty white, the bird baths have ice in them, and the sun is coming up over the tree line.

Got to do the grass, the weather doesn't look too good these next few days for mowing.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe.

If you guys saw what the PO does with the parcel post, you would NEVER use their service. 'Handle with care' translates to throw it. 'Fragile' translates to throw it harder.

:laughing:Yep, I was a clerk in the Dallas, TX Post office from 1959 to 1964. I told my family that, if they had a package to send through the mail, package it, then throw it against the wall as hard as they could. If it couldn't survive 3 or 4 times of that, it probably couldn't survive the post office. And when I worked a window (taking in mail) I stamped "Handle with care" or "Fragile" on packages when requested to do so, and of course that meant absolutely nothing.

Good Morning!!!! 59F @ 4:00AM. Sun and clouds mixed. High 76F. Winds SSE at 10 to 15 mph.

That painting cost you ten dollars, Kyle, but it's worth a whole lot more on several levels, right?

Odd you should mention "drought", Eric. This story from the BBC seems a bit sensational, inventing the new term "megadrought", and aiming it squarely at the Western US. But it seems particularly appropriate considering that Northern California has received somewhere around half the usual rain/snow it usually gets over a winter and spring.

Another sure sign of spring, Ron!

Not to raise an alarm, but this troubling story out of South Dakota could signal trouble for us meat eaters if it proves to be more than a few localized incidents.

On a more positive note, the death rate in California, so far at least, is well below predictions, and seems to be due to our lower population density, and our car culture. Who'd a thought we'd be saved by urban sprawl?

Moved a few more things out of the garage yesterday, clearing the way to install conduit and electrical components for the solar power system. It was warm enough to paint in the late afternoon, and I got a few interior pieces painted for the van. It'll be nice to have a glove box!

Called the Kubota dealer yesterday, and two and a half days after dropping it off, they haven't even looked at the tractor yet. But it's at the top of the list belonging to the mechanic assigned to it.

Today's challenge is to get the pump house cleared out enough to run conduit in there. It's a real mess...

2020-04-17,

Up way too early!

31 right now...high in the mid-40's today. All this cold weather is my fault. I bought two straw hats for summer use and this is payback.

Kyle, your daughter has a talent for drawings. Only giving her $10?

Bird, still waiting on a package shipped via USPS from a town about 60 miles from me. Still in transit from Pittsburgh Pa. For over 10 days. :confused3:

Good morning to all! Low of 24 this morning, forecasted to go only to 32. I am glad I did not take the flowers back out of the garage. Even the weather guessers are calling it the temperature yo-yo....

Got a lot done yesterday, neighbor s trench, helped him drop in a gas line. Them back to the landscaping, got a few of the bigger shrubs and small trees planted. Added another level to the pond, second little waterfall, sounds better now.

Today I will go to the metal roofing supplier in the next town over, pick up the panels for the porch roof. Not sure when the project will begin, maybe this weekend.... maybe not.... depends when the landscaping project gets finished.

Lots to do, so little time. Seems that way.... I just cannot do what I used to. Hard to get that to sink in. Things just take 3-4 times longer....

Here are a couple pics of playing with the tractors yesterday :

I saw a snowshoe hare this morning in the back yard. Mostly brown now and a little hard to see on the brown ground and grass. I've been seeing its' tracks all winter and last Saturday I saw it running h3ll bent for election across the field.

30 this morning walking the dog, up to 52 today. Was told last frost before April 27, so I hope nature listens :)
Trees are turning green, Tractor had it's first full service. Seems like time to start getting the garden and pool area ready.
Will finish up the pool bar this weekend and plan moving it across the lawn into the pool area, about 600 pounds , so should be fun.
Be well all!

44°F and rain this morning, going all the way up to 46° today. The rain that was supposed to last until noon has already stopped before 09:00.

Traffic reporter on the radio this morning was berating drivers over all the accidents; people driving 80+mph on wet highways because they are so open right now with the light traffic. Every accident reported was the result of hydroplaning into the concrete medians or guard rails.

That may be the best deal in the art world, Kyle.

Will the bar look like a tiki hut and the drinks have little umbrellas?

Good morning! 61˚F cloudy. Our county is still increasing by 5-7 cases a day and there is talk in the neighborhood of plans to open up the outside group activities and has asked the clubs for their plans on how to be apart yet together. I can see the golfing, hiking, biking, nature, some exercise classes, and garden clubs opening with a few modifications but I'm afraid the card/domino club will be banned for a while.

That pork pie hat is for going out, not protection from the sun...I have hats used for protection from the sun.

Why not?
Hook up an inexpensive endoscope ($10 at Walmart)
d73174ae-f04e-4f16-87d2-5c9a68d6d1ae_1.66bd1bf76c4f06e4a3673cc4d11bb701.jpeg

Probably would also work for a dentist to do a quick look.
Clean first.

1. An endoscope does meet "virtual" colonoscopy specification.

2. I bought an endoscope that is WiFi and can also connect directly to my iPhone or iPad. It was about $30, as I recall. It's a very handy tool.

When I first got it I used it to look down a plugged down spout with multiple bends. It revealed that the problem was several 1 1/2" screws were used to assemble the sections, instead of proper 1/4". The long screws caught leaves and jammed up the works. Guess that was easier than walking to truck to get more proper screws.

A mix of clouds, sun, and snow with 28ºF as today's low temperature and there was a dusting of snow on the ground. More sun and 32ºF with snowflakes still falling presently. I expect increasing clouds and snow showers later this PM with an afternoon high in the mid40ºF's. The NWS/B-N issued a WWA for this area tonight through Saturday AM. It looks like I might be seeing enough snow to fire up the tractor tomorrow.

This is disturbing.... We can not buy garden vegetable seeds online from our usual sources. Looking at amazon reveals a new high demand product(s)- vegetable seed packets. Now I need to hopefully arrange a curbside pickup at a garden center what a PITA, and hopefully our "neighbor" will have starts up for sale next month at their farmstand where we buy our dairy products and eggs.

Phil- Interesting weather tonight for MA.

Kyle- Your Daughter's talents continue to amaze. Thanks for sharing

Randy- I really hope that the docs get your med mix correct soon.

Thomas- I am in the same situation as to garden, lawn, and possible ride plans.

I am enjoying all the pics and daily reports.

I hope that everyone is having a manageable day and stays healthy.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Bar is more industrial and Pine. Will get pics once in place. Built in Fl. unfinished. I used Epifanes spar varnish to finish it- looks nice but sitting in garage in 3 pieces right now .
